A method of assembling a dressing, which may comprise at least three layers assembled in a stacked relationship, may comprise providing an assembly station having at least one retaining pin, placing a first layer on the assembly station, placing a second layer on the assembly station, and bonding the second layer to the first layer. The first layer may comprise a plurality of apertures, at least some of which may be engaged by the retaining pins, and the second layer may comprise fluid restrictions and alignment areas for engaging with the retaining pins so that the fluid restrictions may be aligned with the apertures of the third layer.

Method of manufacturing an assembly having a nominal thickness skin panel

A method of manufacturing a panel assembly includes supporting the panel assembly in a free state using a holding fixture. The panel assembly has a skin panel, and sacrificial material coupled to a skin panel inner surface. The method includes acquiring a free state outer surface contour of the panel assembly by scanning a skin panel outer surface while the panel assembly is supported by the holding fixture. The method also includes developing a numerically controlled (NC) machining program having cutter paths configured for machining the interface locations to an inner surface contour that reflects nominal thicknesses of the panel assembly based off of the free state outer surface contour. In addition, the method includes machining the sacrificial material at the interface locations by moving a cutter along the cutter paths while the panel assembly is supported by the holding fixture.

STATUS INDICATION FOR NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY

Systems and methods for controlling a pump system for use in negative pressure wound therapy are described herein. In some embodiments, a method for controlling a pump system includes causing provision of negative pressure, via a flow path, to a wound dressing configured to be positioned over a wound, the flow path configured to fluidically connect the pump system to the wound dressing, measuring a first pressure value in the flow path at a first time, measuring a second pressure value in the flow path at a second time, calculating a first rate of pressure change using the first and second pressure values, and in response to determining that the calculated first rate of pressure change satisfies a threshold rate of change, providing an indication that the wound dressing is full, wherein the method is performed under control of a controller of the pump system.

Foamed structure and resin panel

A resin panel according to an embodiment includes a core material, a reinforcing material, a skin material covering the core material and the reinforcing material, and a fastened member. A reinforcing material has a first plate provided on a front surface of the core material, a second plate provided on a back surface of the core material, and a connecting plate connecting the first plate and the second plate. The fastened member is attached to the skin material by a fastening member penetrating the skin material and the first plate or the second plate of the reinforcing material.

Apparatuses for use in negative pressure wound therapy are described herein. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a pump assembly having a pump housing, a magnet, an electrically conductive coil, and a diaphragm, wherein the electrically conductive coil is configured to move a portion of the diaphragm to pump a fluid through the pump apparatus, and a dampener positioned within the pump assembly configured to reduce sound generated by the pump assembly during operation of the pump assembly. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a housing having a first section and a second section, and an illumination source disposed within the housing adjacent the first section, wherein the illumination source is configured to illuminate the first section, wherein the first section is one of transparent and translucent, and wherein the first section is thinner than the second section as measured perpendicularly from inside to outside the housing. In some embodiments, the pump apparatus includes components configured to be laser welded together.

Glue filling method for multilayer thin film sensor structure

A glue filling method for a multilayer thin film sensor structure is disclosed herein. Two outer layers of a composite heat-resistant membrane are carved to have desired patterned holes; an inner layer is interposed between two outer layers to form a layered structure. The composite heat-resistant membrane is stuck onto the multilayer thin film sensor structure with the patterned holes aligned to an electric-conduction through-hole of the multilayer thin film sensor structure to form a filling region. A conductive glue is filled into the filling region. Sustained by the inner-layer heat-resistant membrane, the conductive glue protrudes from the patterned hole to cover a portion of the conductive metals on the surface of the multilayer thin film sensor structure. Thereby are simultaneously achieved a water-proof effect, an airtight effect and a fine interface compatibility.
