PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AUTOMOTIVE GLASS WITH MEMBER

Provided is a process for producing an automotive glass with a member in a highly efficient and space-saving manner. The process for producing an automotive glass with a member comprises bonding together an adhesion surface of an adherend and an adhesion surface of an automotive glass using an adhesive, and then curing the adhesive using a superheated steam generator, thereby attaching the adherend to the automotive glass; wherein the superheated steam generator comprises (1) a boiler part for generating steam, (2) a superheating unit for superheating the steam generated in the boiler part, and (3) a superheated steam vessel equipped internally with one or more heaters and one or more superheated steam outlets for discharging the superheated steam supplied from the superheating unit; and wherein the step of curing the adhesive is performed by covering the adherend placed on the automotive glass with the superheated steam vessel, spraying the superheated steam from the one or more superheated steam outlets to the adherend, and then spraying dry gas.

Method for preparing multi-layer optical laminates

Methods for preparing multi-layer optical laminates include placing an optical film that is free form an adhesive layer between first and second glass substrates that are free of an adhesive layer, placing this laminate under vacuum, and then heating the laminate under pressure to a temperature above the softening temperature of the optical film. The glass substrates are free of an adhesive layer but may include a silane surface treatment. The resulting multi-layer laminate is optically clear and does not show scattering of reflected light by the optical film.

LAMINATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, AND SHAPE CONTROL DEVICE

A laminate including a base member, and a hydrogel layer whose forming material is a hydrogel, the hydrogel layer being provided on a surface of the base member. An adhesive region and a non-adhesive region are formed at an interface between the base member and the hydrogel layer, the adhesive region being a region where the base member and the hydrogel layer adhere to each other, the non-adhesive region being a region where the base member and the hydrogel layer do not adhere to each other.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing display device

A method of manufacturing a display device includes: preparing a cover window including a bent part on a side surface thereof, and a guide film including a surface on which a display panel and an adhesive layer are arranged; arranging the cover window and the guide film in a face-to-face manner such that the adhesive layer faces the cover window; seating the guide film onto a seating pad of a first jig; pre-forming the display panel by bringing opposite ends of the guide film into close contact with opposite side surfaces of the seating pad using a pair of push members; and joining the display panel with the cover window by bringing the adhesive layer into contact with the cover window.

A method of making a flowcell includes bonding a first surface of an organic solid support to a surface of a first inorganic solid support via a first bonding layer, wherein the organic solid support includes a plurality of elongated cutouts. The method further includes bonding a surface of a second inorganic solid support to a second surface of the organic solid support via a second bonding layer, so as to form the flowcell. The formed flowcell includes a plurality of channels defined by the surface of the first inorganic solid support, the surface of the second inorganic solid support, and walls of the elongated cutouts.

SUPPORT, BONDING DEVICE INCLUDING SUPPORT, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

A bonding device includes a first panel support, a second panel support disposed below the first panel support, a diaphragm disposed on and extending along the first panel support, the diaphragm being disposed between the first panel support and the second panel support, and a window fixing chuck disposed on the diaphragm, the window fixing chuck including a groove facing the diaphragm. A through-hole extends from the second panel support to the first panel support, and the diaphragm is disposed on the through-hole.

Method for producing a curved composite glass pane having a thin glass pane

A method for producing a composite glass pane, includes placing a first glass pane having a thickness less than or equal to 1 mm on a support mould, wherein the first glass pane is curved into a shape determined by the support mould; placing at least one thermoplastic film on the first glass pane; placing a curved second glass pane having a thickness greater than or equal to 1.5 mm on the thermoplastic film; and joining the first glass pane to the second glass pane via the thermoplastic film to form a composite glass pane by lamination.

Aroma penetration heat seal liner and method of sealing a container

A non-venting one-piece, partially perforated multilayer induction heat seal liner for a container that allows an aroma or scent from a solid substance within the sealed container to permeate through the liner, while preventing leakage and/or physical contact of the substance by the consumer. The liner includes a partial perforation extending completely through a metal foil layer, and leaving an un-perforated thickness in a paper layer. The partial perforation will allow a prospective customer to sniff the scent or aroma released through the partial perforation, while the liner remains secured to the container, extending shelf life of the substance, and preventing leakage, as well as, contamination, damage and/or reduced volume caused by consumers sampling the substance/product within the container.
