SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR PACKAGING LINES
A sealing assembly for packaging lines of the type having mutually opposite sealing heads between which the polymeric sheets to be mated translate, includes mutually opposite synchronously rotating carousels. At least two eccentric shafts are pivoted on each carousel, and at least one respective sealing head is pivoted on each one of the shafts at an axis. Each eccentric shaft includes a respective slider that can move along a fixed contoured profile for the movement of the respective shaft. A linkage connects corresponding levers which are substantially integral with the eccentric shafts. The levers are opposite to the point of coupling to the respective slider. Each sealing head is controlled by orientation elements which are integral with the respective carousel.
SIDEWALL BONDER AND METHOD FOR BONDING SIDEWALLS TO THERMOPLASTIC BELTS
A bonder and a method for bonding corrugated sidewalls to a thermoplastic belt at a splice joint. Two heating jaw assemblies with complementary and confronting corrugated vertical faces clamp a thermoplastic belt to a base of the bonder with a corrugated sidewall section separated from the belt across a splice joint received in a corrugated slot formed between the confronting vertical faces. Corrugated bonding strips at the bottoms of the corrugated vertical faces apply heat to melt the bottom of the sidewall section on opposite sides to bond the corrugated sidewall section to the base.
Sealing device
A sealing device incorporated in a packaging machine heat-seals a vicinity of a bag mouth of a packaging bag. Paired heater bars are disposed opposite each other so as to be openable/closable and hold the vicinity between them when closed, thereby heat-sealing the vicinity. A link mechanism converts rotation of an output shaft of a servomotor to an opening/closing operation of the heater bars. A storage unit stores seal patterns, each of which includes a sealing pressure applied to the parts and a sealing time period for which the parts are continuously held. A selection unit is configured to select one seal pattern. The output shaft is rotated by a predetermined closing angle according to the sealing pressure of the selected seal pattern to close the heater bars. The heater bars are maintained in the closed state for the sealing time period of the selected seal pattern.

A packaging machine to make an airtight wrapper (12) comprising a wrapping sheet (112) wrapped airtight around a structured assembly (11) consisting of an organized group of smoking articles (14) associated with a reinforcement insert (16) comprises, in working sequence on one or more cyclical conveyor devices (39, 71) of the wheel or carousel type: a structured assembly formation unit (30), a combination unit (31) suitable to combine the structured assembly (11) with said wrapping sheet (112), a wrapping sheet work unit (32) and a welding unit (34).
A WIND TURBINE BLADE WITH A FAIRING
A prefabricated fairing for a wind turbine blade comprising fairing lips and exterior and interior fairing surfaces, wherein the fairing has a first fairing state in which the fairing is adapted to be mounted to a blade body of the wind turbine blade and a second fairing state in which the fairing is adapted to be fixed to the blade body, the fairing lips being compressed towards each other in the second fairing state relative to the first fairing state, wherein the fairing is brought from the first fairing state to the second fairing state upon application of a compression force onto the exterior fairing surface at fairing lips, wherein a difference between a first fairing lip distance in the first fairing state and a second fairing lip distance in the second fairing state is equal to or greater than 5 mm.
Film wrapping machine for product packing device using stretch film
The present invention relates to a film wrapping machine for a product packing device using a stretch film, including a frame having vertical bars extending upward and spaced apart from each other, a film clamping unit including a pair of suction pads which are moved in a direction of being spaced apart from each other in a state of adsorbing the stretch film so that a front end portion of the stretch film supplied from a film supply device is opened, and a plurality of clamps configured to grip the front end portion of the stretch film opened by the suction pads, receive the stretch film whose upper end is cut and bonded by the film supply device in a wrinkled state, and process the stretch film to be covered on a product in a process of lowering the vertical bars, and a controller which controls operation of the film clamping unit and the film supply device.
TUBE HEATER AND SEALER AND METHOD FOR SEALING THERMOPLASTIC TUBES AND PIPES
An apparatus and method of closing a wide variety of thermoplastic tubes, in particular with Shore hardnesses of around 50 (A) to above 100 (A), where the tubes having inside diameters of 1.6 mm to 35 mm and/or wall thicknesses of 0.8 to 4.8 mm. The method involves use of a tube heater having at least one heating element. The heating element has at least four heatable regions which are movable with respect to one another. The tube heater is configured to enclose, in the applied state, at least 75% of the circumference of the tube while bearing against the latter over its circumference at at least four points which are spaced apart from one another. One of the key advantages is that, prior to compression, the tube can already have been heated at a plurality of points on the tube.
Form-fill-seal machine and bag-making packaging machine
A form-fill-seal machine is configured to adjust for changes in the thickness of bags within a short time, and is provided with seal jaws, gas removal members, an air cylinder, and a control unit. The seal jaws transverse-seal a cylindrical film in a widthwise direction forming a bag. The gas removal members come into contact against the bag prior to transverse sealing of an upper edge part, discharging a gas upward from the bag. The air cylinder moves the gas removal members, switching the position of the gas removal members between a first position and a second position with respect to the seal jaws. The control unit, in a time slot just prior to the start of a transverse sealing action performed by the seal jaws, changes the timing of switching between the first position and the second position, and adjusts the amount of gas discharged from the bag.
Method and apparatus for forming leak detectable geomembrane liners
A method for forming a geomembrane liner testable for leaks by securing adjacent panels together with the conductivity of the lower surface of an overlying panel broken along a line adjacent the panel overlapping edge, and the overlapping edges sealed along the line. A heat welder has slots for the overlapping panel edges, with a heated wedge between the slots and having a projection to break the conductivity of the overlying panel bottom surface as it passes the wedge. The slots merge to press the liner edges together to heat weld them along the line of broken conductivity as the welder is moved along the panel edges.

The cloth guiding-and-heating device comprises a cloth guiding seat comprising a first cloth guiding groove having a first opening, a material guiding groove, and a second cloth guiding groove having a second opening. The first opening and the second opening face away from each other. The material guiding groove is configured to guide a tape. The cloth guiding seat is disposed with two blowing pipes in communication with the hot air device. The roll-pressing device is configured for roll-pressing and bonding clothes and the tape, and the plate-pressing device is configured for plate-pressing and bonding the clothes and the tape.
