METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MILK PRODUCT AND A MILK PRODUCT
An aseptically packed long shelf-life milk product comprising about 3 mg furosine/kg milk product to about 9 mg furosine/kg milk product; a plasmin activity of 0 mol/g*h; about 0.20 g/100 ml to about 0.35 g/100 ml of native -lactoglobulin; about 0.06 g/100 ml to about 0.11 g/100 ml of -lactalbumin, and a tyrosine equivalent of most 50 mg/L after 135 days storage time.
Thawing of raw milk
A colostrum heating tub and a container for storing said colostrum therein, the colostrum heating tub adapted for holding a stationary pool of heating liquid and surrounding the container such that it is at least partly immersed in the heating liquid when positioned in the colostrum heating tub. The colostrum heating tub further contains a rack module for holding the container within the stationary pool of heating liquid, the rack module adapted for rotating around an axis such that at least the container can be rotated 360 degrees around the axis so the container is, at all times during 360 degree rotation around the axis, maintained in a fixed position with respect to the rack module and at least partly immersed in the stationary pool of heating liquid for even distribution of heat throughout the container to uniformly heat the colostrum.
