METHOD FOR PROMOTING GROWTH OF BACTERIA OF GENUS BIFIDOBACTERIUM
Provided a method for promoting growth of bacteria of the genus Bifidobacterium. The method for promoting growth of bacteria of the genus Bifidobacterium includes subjecting a milk culture medium containing one or more selected from the group consisting of cysteine, cystine, and a salt thereof to heat treatment and then culturing bacteria of the genus Bifidobacterium in the milk culture medium.
Anti-reflux infant nutrition
An infant formula for preventing gastro-esophageal reflux is disclosed comprising whey protein and/or casein, a galactomannan thickener, and a fermented milk-derived product.
Lactobacillus casei for treating obesity and associated metabolic disorders
The strain Lactobacillus casei AH077 (NCIMB12019) produces a polysaccharide and increases energy excretion. The strain acts to block fat absorption and is used in the prevention or treatment of obesity and obesity-related metabolic syndrome.
Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis CCFM1018 and application thereof in preparation of food and medicine for excreting plasticizer
The disclosure discloses Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis CCFM1018 and application thereof in preparation of food and medicine for excreting a plasticizer, and belongs to the technical field of microorganisms. The Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis CCFM1018 not only is significantly better than the intestinal resident bacteria Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis in terms of the effect of promoting the excretion of DEHP and MEHP, but also is better than the commercial strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus LGG. Therefore, the Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis CCFM1018 of the disclosure can be used as an effective means to prevent and alleviate body damage caused by DEHP and MEHP, and does not have toxic or side effects of drugs. Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis CCFM1018 can be used to prepare pharmaceutical compositions and fermented food for alleviating and preventing the toxicity of DEHP and metabolites thereof, and has a very broad application prospect.

A method for producing a salty yoghurt or yoghurt-like product comprising combining buttermilk, and milk permeate and optionally whey is hereby provided. Additionally, a salty yoghurt or yoghurt-like product comprising buttermilk, milk permeate and optionally whey is also provided. Finally, a yoghurt powder base composition comprising the components in a dry form is also provided.
BIFIDOBACTERIUM ANIMALIS SUBSP. LACTIS I797, METHOD FOR SEPARATION AND PURIFICATION THEREOF, AND USE THEREOF
Provided are a Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis i797, a method for the separation and purification thereof, and a use thereof. The strain was is deposited in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center on Aug. 20, 2019, wherein the deposit address is Building 3, No. 1 Beichen West Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, and the deposit number is CGMCC NO. 18403. The Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis i797 can adjust the balance of intestinal flora, improve stool characteristics, and has a better survival rate in simulated digestive juice; in addition, after being stored at 37° C., a relatively high temperature which is suitable for the growth of lactic acid bacteria, same can successfully control post-acidification.
Ampicillin resistant texturizing lactic acid bacteria strains
The present invention relates to mutants of lactic acid bacteria which are resistant to the antibiotic ampicillin and which were found to give an increased texture when grown in milk while maintaining the other growth properties of the parent strain. The present invention, furthermore, relates to compositions comprising such mutants, and to dairy products fermented with the lactic acid bacteria resistant to ampicillin.
Yogurt Composition
A yogurt core is described that contains yogurt or a yogurt analog, cream cheese or a cream cheese analog, and dairy-derived powder or dairy-free powder. A yogurt core provides a less tart flavor due to a pH above 4.6, yet remains safe over an extended refrigerated shelf life due to a water activity of less than 0.92. A yogurt core can be enrobed to provide a hand-holdable yogurt-containing snack.
