RESIN BOTTLE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
To provide a resin container and a method for manufacturing the same with which it is possible to generate more effervescence than hitherto. This resin container is provided with: a resin container main body inside which is formed an accommodating space that is hermetically sealed using a cap; and a textured region which is formed on an inner surface of the container main body and is formed from a rough surface.
Preform Extended Finish For Processing Light Weight Ecologically Beneficial Bottles
Disclosed are preforms which incorporate improvements in the region of the neck and upper segment of the body to allow the production of lightweight containers, such as bottles suitable for containing water or other beverages. In accordance with certain embodiments, the improvements include a thinner neck finish area than conventional bottles, where the thinner area is extended into the upper segment of the body portion below the support ring. Reducing the thickness in these areas of the bottle allows for less resin to be used in forming the preform and bottle.

SINGLE PIECE, SHORT STEMMED BLOWN DRINKING VESSEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed is a one-piece, short stemmed, blow molded drinking vessel. The vessel includes a stem with a first end and a second end, a partial hollow cavity disposed therein, and a height that allows holding of the stem using a fore finger and a thumb, a bowl with a lip configured on top, and has a continuous bowl surface that laterally stretches between the lip to its maximum predefined diameter, thereafter shrinks to merge with the first end of the stem forming a beverage retaining region, a base with a predefined diameter, the second end of the stem is merged centrally over a top surface of the base, and a removable sealing unit adapted for covering the lip of the bowl in order to ensure the beverage contained within the beverage retaining region doesn't come in contact with air and doesn't spill out during transportation.

PREFORM FOR PRODUCTION OF A PLASTIC CONTAINER IN A STRETCH-BLOW-MOLDING METHOD
A preform for a stretch-blow-molded plastic container includes an elongated, tube-like preform body. An outer wall and an inner wall delimit a bottom thickness (b). An outer wall and an inner wall delimit a wall thickness (w). An inner surface and an outer surface (E1) curved in three-dimensionally convex manners are spaced apart such that a distance from their respective apex (S, S) to the preform body continuously increases. Extensions of the outer wall of the preform bottom along the outer three-dimensionally curved surface (E1), and of the inner wall of the preform bottom along the inner three-dimensionally curved surface (E2) are configured to be interrupted by set-backs area outside of their respective apex (S, S) thereof.
ETCHED PREFORM TIP
A method of inspecting a blow molded container having a finish, a base, a body between the finish and base, and etching at the base. The method includes identifying where on the base the etching is located, designating the base as accurately blow molded if the etching is located at a predetermined location of the base, and designating the base as not accurately blow molded if the etching is not located at the predetermined location of the base.
Molding system and method for manufacturing modular interlocking articles
Described are a mold and molding process for manufacturing devices and containers that are scalable, modular, and lockable laterally and vertically with other like devices or containers. The mold is formed with a cup mold and top end mold sections specially designed to allow for molding and demolding a container with an undercut. The cup mold includes, on a vertical wall, one or more undercuts. Multiple undercuts may further form tongues with undercuts each of which forms a groove with undercuts on the molded article, and/or one or more grooves with undercuts each of which form a tongue with undercuts in the molded article. Molding and Demolding of the article with undercuts is further enabled by utilizing an improved method of molding said article with an undercut, and demolding said article from the mold once it is molded, by improvements to each stage of the molding process, including the preform stage, the conditioning station stage, the blow stage and the release stage.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTING DEVICE, TEMPERATURE ADJUSTING METHOD, AND RESIN CONTAINER MANUFACTURING METHOD
A temperature adjustment device and a temperature adjustment method for a preform in a blow molding device with which it is possible to reduce a molding cycle time is provided. A temperature adjustment device for a preform in which a hollow rod member is inserted into an injection-molded, bottomed preform retained by a retention member, and a first air circulation path is formed between the preform and the hollow rod member to adjust the temperature of the preform. The temperature adjustment device is characterized in that a flow path adjustment member is fitted and attached to the outer periphery of the hollow rod member, whereby the cross-sectional area of the first air circulation path is partially adjusted and changed.
Method and device for the production of an optimized bottom contour on preforms
A device and a method for producing a preform having a shoulder and base geometry optimized for subsequent stretch blow molding, since the preform cannot be produced according to the conventional injection-molding method. For this purpose, the preform produced in the injection-molding tool is transferred into a conditioning station and is conditioned and cooled in the shaft while no contact is made with the top of the preform and the preform shoulder on account of a special contour of the conditioning receptacle. Due to the reheating of these preform regions they can be mechanically deformed into a new geometry which is advantageous for the blow molding process and thus their wall thickness can also be influenced. In the subsequent blow molding process the deformed preform has the advantage that the plastic material which is distributed better in the bottle results in considerable material savings and higher quality bottles.
