In some embodiments, the method includes preparing fragments into an assembly; mixing the fragments and an adhesive into a blended core furnish; applying the adhesive to a top side of a bottom layer fabric in the assembly; forming a core mat of the blended core furnish on top of the adhesive; applying the adhesive to a top side of the core mat; applying a surface layer fabric on the top side of the adhesive; pressing the assembly; and cutting and trimming the assembly to form panels.

An average polymerization degree of the polyvinyl chloride (A) may be 1350 or more, the alkyl phosphate may comprise a mono-alkyl phosphate, and the number of carbon atoms of an alkyl group in the alkyl phosphate may be 5 or more.

The pressure sensitive adhesive is formed of a copolymer comprising a backbone of n-butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and vinyl acetate which is mixed with at least one surfactant and emulsified to produce air bubbles which form pores when the copolymer is set with about 80% to about 90% of the pore sizes ranging from about 200 microns to about 300 microns and being uniformly distributed to form a flow path through the pressure sensitive adhesive.

The present invention relates to a method for the production of a coated paper, paperboard or film, wherein the method comprises the steps of; providing a first suspension comprising cellulose fibers and/or nanocellulose, applying the first suspension on a substrate to form a fibrous web, wherein the web has a first and a second side, providing a second suspension comprising polymers and/or particles wherein the second suspension has a Brookfield viscosity above 3000 m Pas at a dry content between 4%-40% by weight, providing at least one calender comprising at least one roll or belt, applying the second suspension to the surface of the at least one calender roll or belt forming a coating web and conducting said fibrous web through the at least one calender whereby the coating web is applied to the first side of the web forming the coated paper, paperboard or film. The invention also relates to a paper, paperboard or film produced according to the method.

The invention discloses oxygen scavenging films having at least one oxygen scavenging layer comprising a blend of ethylene/methyl acrylate/cyclohexene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMCM) as oxygen scavenger resin and a catalyst in a carrier resin, and an outer substrate layer having a thickness greater than 5% with respect to the total thickness of the film. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of such films, to the use of said films in food packaging and to the packages obtained therefrom.
