Composite fabric member and methods
A planar article in the form of a thin strip is shown. The article, comprising a fabric and a polymer, can be formed into a variety of shapes. A hollow profile made from the article by forming a seam using opposing edges of the strip to enclose a volume. A thermoplastic extrusion formed composite structural member and method for making is disclosed. In one embodiment, the composite structural member includes a first web made from a first material and a first resin, a second web made from a second material different from the first material, a third web made from a third material and a third resin, and a fourth web made from a fourth material.
BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYESTER FILM
To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film that has extremely low content of antimony, excellent hygiene, few foreign substances, excellent transparency and heat resistance, and is excellent in printability, workability, and productivity. A biaxially oriented polyester film characterized by a content of antimony in the film of 10 ppm or less, a content of phosphorus in the film of 25 ppm or more and 75 ppm or less, an intrinsic viscosity of the film of 0.51 dl/g or more and 0.70 dl/g or less, and a number of defects with a size of 1 mm or more is 1.0 or less per 1000 square meters of the film.
Antimicrobial packaging films
The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic packaging film coated with an antimicrobial coating, a method for the preparation of the coated film and packaging articles made with the film.
Heat shrinkable film
The present invention refers to a multilayer heat shrinkable film characterized by a combination of desirable properties, such as high shrinkage, good optical properties, excellent sealability and puncture resistance. The invention further is directed to a method of producing said film. The invention is further directed to the use of said film or bags and pouches made therefrom for packaging goods as for example food products.

The invention provides a method for fabricating a spacer fabric composite having a pattern, fabricating machine and composite fabricated by method thereof. The method comprises a film forming step, a patterning step, a laminating step and a hole opening step.
SOLAR CELL MODULES WITH IMPROVED BACKSHEET
Disclosed is a polyamide-ionomer composition suitable for use in a backsheet in a photovoltaic module comprising a polymer component a polyamide and an anhydride ionomer comprising a copolymer of ethylene, an alpha, beta-unsaturated C.sub.3-C.sub.8 carboxylic acid and an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or derivative thereof selected from the group consisting of maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, maleic anhydride, and a C.sub.1-C.sub.1 alkyl half ester of maleic acid, wherein the carboxylic acid functionalities present are at least partially neutralized to carboxylate salts of one or more alkali metal, transition metal, or alkaline earth metal cations; 0 to 20 weight % of pigment; and 0 to 40 weight % of filler; preferably wherein the combination of pigment and filler comprises 10 to 50 weight % of the composition; and 0 to 5 weight % of weatherability additives.
SHRINK LABELS
The invention relates to a shrink label. According to an embodiment the shrink label comprises an uniaxially oriented multilayer face film comprising skin layers including polyethylene polymer(s) and at least two cyclic polymers comprising different glass transition temperatures between 30 and 100° C. and the difference between the glass transition temperatures being between 5 and 60° C., and wherein the multilayer face film is seamed by a solvent. The invention further relates to a method for providing a shrink label, use of the shrink label, method for providing a shrink label and method for labelling.
Multilayer film and authentication label
In a first aspect, a multilayer film includes a holographic image layer, a first heat-shrinkable layer and a first adhesive layer between the holographic image layer and the first heat-shrinkable layer. In a second aspect, an authentication label includes a holographic image layer, a first heat-shrinkable layer, a first adhesive layer between the holographic image layer and the first heat-shrinkable layer, and a back adhesive layer.
Weather Resistant Insulative Apparel Fabrics
A conformable and optionally elastic weather resistant, comfortable fabric provides wind and rain resistance, plus thermal insulation, along with moisture transfer through the fabric, by combining a hydrophobic and dense outer layer with a bulky absorbent middle layer and a thin hydrophobic inner layer, joined by stitching and optionally subsequently shrinking to bulk the structure and re-adjust the openings formed by stitching. The third hydrophobic layer may be omitted and substituted with hydrophobic underlap yarns formed during the stitching process. The method provides high conformability and optionally elastic fit or inelastic pre-adjustable body fit.
Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition, melt-forming material, multilayer structure, and multilayer pipe
An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; (B) an antioxidant; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition; wherein the weight ratio (B)/(C) of the antioxidant (B) to the sorbic acid ester (C) is 500 to 1,000,000. The resulting ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition is less susceptible to coloration.
