The present invention relates to: a biodegradable polyester resin in which a ratio of the number of first repeating units, including first diol residues and aromatic dicarboxylic acid residues, and the number of second repeating units, including second diol residues and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residues, is 0.2-1.4, and the index of adhesion is 8 or more; and a method for preparing same. A biodegradable polyester film or biodegradable laminate prepared from the biodegradable polyester resin not only has excellent heat resistance compared to the case of using conventionally used biodegradable resins, but also has excellent adhesion to various other substrates as well as the same substrate, and thus can be used in various ways as an eco-friendly biodegradable adhesive product.

Wet wipes having layered nonwoven substrates and methods of making the same are provided. The layered nonwoven substrate has a first outer layer including a first plurality of fibers and forming at least a part of a first outer surface, a second outer layer including a second plurality of fibers and forming at least a port of a second outer surface opposite the first outer surface, and an inner layer including a third plurality of fibers and disposed at least partially between the first outer layer and the second outer layer. At least a portion of the third plurality of fibers is disposed on one of the first outer surface or the second outer surface. The wet wipes also include a lotion comprising at least 90% by weight of the lotion of water.

MICROSTRUCTURED SURFACE AND ARTICLES WITH LOWER VISIBILITY OF SCRATCHES AND METHODS

Structured surfaces are described. In one embodiment, the structured surface comprises a plurality of structures having complement cumulative slope magnitude distribution (Fcc) such that at least 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90% of structures have a slope greater than 10 degrees; and less than 80% of the structures have a slope greater than 35 degrees. In other embodiments, the structures comprise peaks and valleys defined by a Cartesian coordinate system such that the peaks and valleys have a width and length in the x-y plane and a height in the z-direction and at least a portion of the peaks and/or valleys vary in height in the y direction and/or the x-direction by at least 10% of the average height.
