A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet along a conveyance path, a printing unit configured to print an image by discharging ink to the sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit, a heating unit configured to, in a heating section on the conveyance path, heat the sheet on which the image has been printed by the printing unit, and a control unit configured to control the heating unit so that the heating section is changed in accordance with a print condition.
Printed media dryer
An apparatus comprises a dryer to force air onto a printed media during use to dry the printed media, and an air collector comprising at least one suction opening throughout which, in use, air from the dryer is collected. The apparatus may guide the collected air back to the dryer. The at least one suction opening may be arranged so as to stop the printed media from rising due to pressure differential.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a conveying unit configured to convey a recording medium in a conveyance direction, a platen configured to support the recording medium conveyed by the conveying unit, a recording head configured to perform recording on the recording medium supported by the platen, a pressing unit configured to press the recording medium upstream of the platen in the conveyance direction, an air blowing unit configured to blow air toward a supported region of the recording medium, which is supported by the platen, from an upstream side in the conveyance direction, and a guide member configured to be fixed to the pressing unit, provide partitioning between a space facing a blown air outlet of the air blowing unit and the pressing unit, and guide the air blown by the air blowing unit.
DRYING DEVICE
A drying device includes a conveying unit to convey a medium to which liquid is discharged from a discharging head, a hot air blowing unit, a passage forming unit, and an adjusting unit. The hot air blowing unit includes a blowing unit, and a heating unit. The passage forming unit forms, between the hot air blowing unit and a region on a conveyance path of the conveying unit, a circulation path through which air blown from the hot air blowing unit is to be circulated. The adjusting unit adjusts an amount of air outside the circulation path that is supplied to the blowing unit. The circulation path includes an introduction portion, and an exhaust portion. The adjusting unit includes a movable member that changes an exhaust portion opening amount.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a transportation roller that transports recording paper in a transporting direction, a head that performs printing on the recording paper, a cutter that has a second blade located at a position facing an opening located downstream in the transporting direction of the head and the transportation roller and a first blade configured to move from the opening to the second blade and configured to cut the recording paper together with the second blade, and a flap that has a shutter configured to open and close the opening and is configured to move between a first position and a second position, and when the first blade moves from the opening to the second blade, the flap moves from the first position to the second position, and the shutter opens the opening, and when the first blade moves away from the second blade, the flap moves from the second position to the first position, and the shutter closes the opening.
Drawing apparatus and drawing method for drawing apparatus
A drawing apparatus and a drawing method for a drawing apparatus whereby only an amount of drying necessary to dry the ink can be efficiently performed, and both high-definition drawing and expedited drawing processing can be realized. The drawing apparatus includes a drawing unit 40 that performs a drawing on a surface of a nail T by applying ink to the surface of the nail T, and a fan 92; a drying unit 90 that performs a drying operation for drying the ink applied to the surface of the nail T; a drying condition determination portion 813 that determines a drying condition for the drying unit 90; and a drying control portion 814 that controls the drying operation of the drying unit 90 in accordance with a determination by the drying condition determination portion 813.
Dryers for Printed Media
Dryers (300) comprising a first surface (102) and a deflector (302). The first surface comprises at least one opening (104) through which air is forced during use to dry a printed media and the deflector comprises (302) a second surface to change the direction of airflow passing through the at least one opening. The deflector guides the direction of the airflow such that it flows substantially in a direction corresponding to the direction of travel (310) of the printed media.
Printer for printing a film that can be hydrographically printed onto an object and a method of printing
A printer and a method of printing is disclosed. The printer includes a frame having a printing mechanism. The printing mechanism has an exterior surface, an inlet for receiving a leading edge of a film and an advancing mechanism. The printing mechanism also has a print head capable of depositing a plurality of ink droplets onto the advancing film and an outlet for allowing the printed film to exit. A lid is secured to the printing mechanism and is movable between a closed position, where the film is covered, and an open position, where the film is exposed. A first heating element is secured to the lid which heats the incoming air. A first fan is located adjacent to the first heating element and functions to direct the heated air onto the plurality of ink droplets. An inlet aperture is formed in the exterior surface of the printing mechanism which is aligned with the first fan. A cover having at least one opening formed there through is positioned over the inlet aperture. A baffle is positioned below the cover and has a plurality of openings formed there through. The baffle regulates the volume of air passing through the inlet aperture. A pair of second fans is positioned on either side of the print head for regulating the air temperature surrounding the print head. Lastly, a heater control unit is utilized to regulate the temperature of the first heating element.
