A control device includes: a memory; and a controller. A printer includes: a head; and a carriage mounting the head thereon. The controller is configured to perform: selecting first speed information from among a plurality of pieces of speed information stored in the memory, the first speed information indicating a first speed; estimating an ink pressure related value using the first speed information, the ink pressure related value indicating an ink pressure for a first type of print printing an image by ejecting ink from the head while moving the carriage at the first speed; determining whether the ink pressure related value reaches a threshold value; executing the first type of print in response to determining that the ink pressure related value does not reach the threshold value; and executing a second type of print in response to determining that the ink pressure related value reaches the threshold value.

The disclosure discloses a printer includes a controller. The controller performs a first feed control process, a temperature-difference calculation process, and a first printing speed determination process. In the first feed control process, in a state where an energizing device does not perform energization to the heating element, the driving device is controlled to perform non-energization feeding while causing a thermal head to contact a print-receiving medium. In the temperature-difference calculation process, during execution of the non-energization feeding, a first deviation between two of the head temperatures which are respectively detected by the first temperature detecting device at different timings is calculated. In the first printing speed determination process, the printing speed is determined on the basis of the first deviation.
Image Processing Device Generating Print Data Using Profile Corresponding to Printing Direction
In an image processing device, a controller is configured to perform: selecting; generating; and outputting. The selecting selects a target partial image one by one from a plurality of partial images. The target partial image is represented by target partial image data. The generating generates partial print data for a partial print by executing an image process on the target partial image data. The partial print forms the target partial image while moving a print head in a printing direction. The partial print forms the target partial image while moving a print head in a printing direction. The image process includes a color conversion process. The color conversion process is executed on the target partial image data using one of a first profile and a second profile selected in accordance with the printing direction set for the partial print. The outputting outputs the partial print data to the printer.
Image Recording Apparatus
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including a conveyer, a carriage, a head and a controller. In a case of recording an image on a recording medium, the controller executes: obtaining information regarding a supply state of liquid from a liquid tank to the head in a case of executing each of recording passes; determining a moving velocity of the carriage with respect to each of the recording passes, based on the obtained information regarding the supply state; and adjusting a conveyance amount, by which the recording medium is conveyed in each of conveying operations, depending on moving velocities of the carriage determined with respect to two continuous recording passes, respectively, included in the recording passes, so as to adjust length in the conveyance direction of an overlap area in which recording areas by the two continuous recording passes overlap with each other.
IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
There is provided an image recording apparatus including a carriage, a head, a velocity sensor, and a controller. The controller obtains velocity data of the carriage from the velocity sensor, determines a threshold value based on the velocity data, records an image on a recording medium, and suspends a recording pass when the controller has determined that a velocity indicated by the velocity data is lower than a velocity corresponding to the threshold value. The controller can execute a first recording mode and a second recording mode in which the velocity of the carriage is faster than that of the first recording mode. The velocity data for the first recording mode is obtained in a warm-up time after a recording command is received until recording of the image is started. The velocity data for the second recording mode is obtained in other time other than the warm-up time.
Printing apparatus and carriage apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a carriage mounted with a printing unit; a first motor configured to move the carriage in a predetermined direction; a second motor configured to move the carriage in the predetermined direction; and a control unit. The control unit executes a first mode in which, when causing the printing unit to perform printing under a first printing condition, the first motor is driven in a first direction and the second motor is driven in the first direction, and a second mode in which, when causing the printing unit to perform printing under a second printing condition different from the first printing condition, the first motor is driven in the first direction and the second motor is driven in the first direction while changing an output ratio between the first motor and the second motor.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including: a liquid discharge head having a nozzle surface; a carriage; a carriage mover; a conveyor conveying a medium in a conveyance direction; a velocity sensor; a distance sensor; and a controller. The controller makes a determination regarding the velocity of the carriage based on output of the velocity sensor, and makes a determination regarding the distance between the medium and the nozzle surface based on output of the distance sensor. In a case that that the controller determines that the velocity is less than a predetermined velocity and that the distance is less than a predetermined distance, the controller interrupts recording performed by the liquid discharge head.

A printing system has a print head shuttle containing a print head mounted on a print guide rail, a support shuttle containing support electronics for the print head mounted on a support guide rail adjacent and parallel to the print guide rail, and at least one electronic signal-carrying cable connected between the support electronics and the print head.
Base material processing apparatus and detection method
A base material processing apparatus includes first and second edge sensors and a displacement amount calculation part. The first edge sensor acquires a first detection result (R1) by detecting the position of an edge of a base material in a width direction at a first detection position. The second edge sensor acquires a second detection result (R2) by detecting the position of the edge of the base material at a second detection position. The displacement amount calculation part calculates the amount of displacement in the position of the base material in the transport direction or the amount of difference in the transporting speed of the base material on the basis of the first and second detection results (R1, R2). Thus, the amount of displacement in the position or the amount of difference in the transporting speed can be detected without depending on images such as register marks.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric apparatus for controlling movement of a target object by performing first and second feedback controls, based on a detection signal obtained from detecting the movement of the target object, generates an operation quantity on the target object based on first and second operation quantities for the second feedback control if one of a predetermined target value and an estimated first state quantity of the target object is larger than a first threshold value, and generates the operation quantity on the target object using only the first operation quantity out of the first and the second operation quantities if one of the target value and the first state quantity of the target object is smaller than the first threshold value.
