Wheel Suspension
Wheel suspension comprising a frame suitable for connection to a body of a vehicle and comprising a first and second wheel which together define a track width, and wherein the first wheel is connected to the frame via a first set of actuators and wherein the second wheel is connected to the frame via a second set of actuators such that by means of operating the actuators the track width is adjustable between a narrow track, characterized in that the first set of actuators overlaps in the transverse direction of the vehicle with the second set of actuators.
Turn system applied to the four wheels of a sugar-cane harvester
The present invention relates to a turn system actuated by hydraulic cylinders, applied to the four wheels of sugar-cane harvesters, wherein the harvester (80) comprises a rear axle (23) and a front axle (24), with wheel assemblies (9) associated to the axles (23, 24), wherein the rear axle (23) and the front axle (24) have a turn system, the one of the rear axle (23) being actuated by means of a double-action rear hydraulic cylinder (1) and that of the front axle (24) being actuated by means of a double-action front hydraulic cylinder (11), the hydraulic cylinders (1, 11) receiving a flow of oil through at least one flow divider (61) connected to an ortibrol (65) actuated by means of a steering wheel (60) of the harvester (80), the flow of oil received by the flow divider (61) being proportional to a factor related to the turn of the steering wheel (60), the turn system enabling the turn of the wheel assemblies (9) in amplitude ranging from 0.5 to 40 degrees, to the right or to the left, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the harvester (80).
A TURN SYSTEM APPLIED TO THE FOUR WHEELS OF A SUGAR-CANE HARVESTER
Mounting assembly for a steerable wheel with variable track width
A wheel-mounting assembly for a utility vehicle includes a chassis and a wheel support assembly mounted to respective outboard ends of first and second telescopic axle assemblies. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies are laterally spaced from one another and are each secured to the chassis. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies each include a respective actuator arranged to control extension and retraction thereof for steering and track-width control.
WIDTH-ADJUSTABLE HEAVY-GOODS VEHICLE
A heavy goods vehicle (10) having a vehicle frame (12) and at least one driving axis (A), which has on either longitudinal side (10a) of the vehicle (10) a bogie (22) comprising a wheel assembly (14), each wheel assembly (14) comprising at least two wheels arranged symmetrically in relation to a central axis (S), and a wheel suspension (18) by means of which said wheel assembly is fastened to a rotary plate (28) of the bogie (22), this rotary plate (28) being mounted on a rotary bearing (24) of the bogie (22) which is engaged with the vehicle frame (12) so as to be rotatable about a steering swivel axis (X). According to the invention, the rotary bearing (24) of the bogie (22) can be adjusted in the width direction (B) of the vehicle relative to the vehicle frame (12) and can be detachably connected to the vehicle frame (12) in an operationally stable manner.
System and method for an agricultural applicator
A vehicle system includes an axle arrangement operably coupling a wheel assembly with a frame. The frame defines a fore-aft axis and a transverse axis extending generally transverse to the fore-aft axis. The axle arrangement includes first and second axle elements adapted for operative connection between the frame and the wheel assembly for extension and retraction along the transverse axis. The first axle element can be operably coupled with the frame and the second axle element can be integrated with the wheel assembly. One or more sensors can be configured to generate vehicle dat. A computing system can be configured to receive an input related to an adjustment to the position of the second axle element relative to the fore-aft axis and generate an adjustment model based at least partially on the input and the vehicle data.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a travel vehicle body, a traveling device to support the travel vehicle body such that the travel vehicle body is allowed to travel, a changer including an actuator to change a track width of the traveling device, and a controller configured or programmed to perform a first change control in which the controller repeats a drive control until the track width satisfies a target value, the drive control being a control to drive the actuator such that the track width reaches the target value. The controller is configured or programmed to perform the drive control and an idle control alternately from when the first change control is started to when the track width satisfies the target value, the idle control being a control to not drive the actuator for an idle time.
