FISHING ROD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A fishing rod is provided. The fish rod includes a rod blank comprised of an elongated elastic member and having a first end, a reel seat extended in a first direction from the first end, and a handle having a plurality of grip members. Each of the plurality of grip members is separately disposed from one another around the first end of the rod blank.
REEL LEG FIXING APPARATUS, METHOD OF FABRICATING THE REEL LEG FIXING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING HOOD PORTION OF THE REEL LEG FIXING APPARATUS
One object is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having an efficiently reduced thickness and weight while maintaining a sufficient strength. Another object of the present invention is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having a reduced thickness and weight while efficiently ensuring necessary strength at relevant portions, and a method of fabricating the reel leg fixing apparatus. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having an oblique end that allows weight reduction and maintains a sufficient strength.

Fishing rod
The subject of the invention relates to a fishing rod that has a handle (1), a shaft (2), with tip top guide (7), containing a spring, a reel support seat (3) running between the handle (1) and the shaft (2), and reel support rings (26, 27) located on the seat (3), as well as a trigger (11) for using top-mounted reels. The essence of the invention is that the handle (1) is connected to the seat (3) and the seat (3) to the shaft (2) with releasable connections, and the seat (3) is established to accommodate both bottom-mounted and top-mounted reels (40) and also to accommodate a trigger (11) that may be attached and removed from the seat (3) for operating top-mounted reels (40).

DUAL-BEARING REEL AND LEVEL WIND MECHANISM THEREOF
A level wind mechanism for a dual-bearing reel including a first reel body and a second reel body includes a worm shaft, a guide member, and a first seal member. The worm shaft including a first end, a second end, a shaft body and a helical groove. The first end is on the same side as the first reel body. The second end is on the same side as the second reel body. The shaft body extends between the first end and the second end. The helical groove is on the shaft body. The guide member includes a tubular shape, is outside the worm shaft in a radial direction from a rotational axis of the worm shaft, and extends between the first reel body and the second reel body. The first seal member seals between the first end of the worm shaft and the guide member.

REEL SEAT
A reel seat has a good handling property and good gripping comfortability at the time of gripping and holding a fishing rod with a fishing reel, further, the reel seat with which weight reduction is efficiently achieved. A seat main body of a reel seat has a divided structure of a first main body including a part where a reel foot mounting portion, a fixed hood, and a moving hood are arranged, the first main body being formed in a tubular shape secured on an outer peripheral surface of a fishing rod, and a second main body made of a material having strength equal to or less than the first main body, the second main body being disposed on and fixed to a surface of the first main body.

Universal Arbor for Fishing Rod Blanks
Universal arbors mountable on tapered fishing rod blanks as non-degradable self-centering collars to which a reel seat may be mounted. The inventive cylinder-shaped arbor comprises a flexible thermoplastic resin formed as an outer cylinder, closed at one end with an integral end wall or separate disc/washer, which included a cylindrical hole to receive a rod blank. The annulus between the cylinder inner wall and the hole margin includes curved or straight centering fins secured to the cylinder inner wall that are free to flex. Flexing of the centering fins permits accommodating a wide range of blank tapers at the proper place of location of a reel seat making the arbor universal and positionally forgiving. Once the arbor is located on the blank and oriented properly, the cylinder is filled with a fluid epoxy resin, which when cured permanently secures the arbor to the blank and to the reel seat tube.
