PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire including a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions, a pair of bead cores, a first ply, and a second ply being discontinuous and having a pair of ply pieces. The first ply includes a central portion positioned in the tread portion, a pair of side portions extending from opposite ends of the central portion, and a pair of folded-up portions folded up around the respective pair of bead cores. The pair of ply pieces each includes a side portion extending from an inner end, and a folded-up portion folded up around any one of the pair of bead cores. In each of the sidewall portions, the first ply has a plurality of first cords extending in the tire radial direction, and the pair of ply pieces each has a plurality of second cords extending at an angle from the first cords.
PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR TWO-WHEELED MOTOR VEHICLES
Provided is a pneumatic tire for two-wheeled motor vehicles in which the durability of bead portions is improved than in conventional tires. This pneumatic tire includes: a tread portion formed in an annular shape; side wall portions and bead portions, which continuously extend on the respective ends of the tread portion; a carcass 1 composed of at least three layers of carcass plies 1a, 1b and 1c which toroidally extend on the tire radial-direction inner side of the tread portion; a belt 2 composed of at least two belt layers 2a and 2b which are arranged on the tire radial-direction outer side of the carcass 1; and bead cores 3 embedded in the bead portions. In this pneumatic tire, the carcass plies 1a, 1b and 1c; have a bias structure and include at least two layers of turn-up carcass plies 1a and 1b which are folded back around the bead cores 3, and at least one layer of down carcass ply 1c which is arranged on the tire radial-direction outer side of the turn-up carcass plies and terminated on the tire width-direction outer side of the bead portions without being folded back around the bead cores 3.
TIRE WITH INVERSE CASING CONSTRUCTION
A vehicle tire comprises a first casing layer spanning between and wrapping around first and second bead cores. The first casing layer has first edge sections that do not overlap with each other and stop short of a central tread region of the tire. A second casing layer has second edge sections that overlap the first edge sections of the first casing layer, and the second casing layer spans the central tread region. A tread layer spans the central tread region. A breaker belt is positioned in the central tread region between the second casing layer and the tread layer or between the first casing layer and the second casing layer. First and second sidewall regions are defined between the tread layer and the first and second bead cores, respectively. The sidewall regions comprise three plies of casing layers and the central tread region comprises two plies of casing layers.
Aircraft tire
A pneumatic tire is disclosed having two annular bead portions having a bead core. A carcass extends between the bead portions through sidewall portions and a tread portion, wherein the carcass includes at least two axially inner plies which extend down from the tread and axially inward of the bead core, said at least two axially inner plies being wound around the bead core forming respective turn-ups, each turnup being located axially outward of the bead core. The carcass further includes a first axially outer ply which extends down from the tread towards the bead core and positioned axially outward of the bead core, wherein at least one of the axially outer plies is formed from reinforcements having a higher break strength than the reinforcements of the axially inner plies.

Pneumatic Tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire. One terminal of a carcass layer extends to a ground contact edge of a tread portion positioned on an opposite side with respect to a tire center line as a reference. The carcass layer has a double layer structure including an inner layer positioned inward in a tire radial direction in a tread region and an outer layer positioned outward in the tire radial direction of the inner layer in the tread region. A cord angle in the carcass layer in a tread central region with respect to a tire circumferential direction is different from a cord angle in at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer of the carcass layer in a side region with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
