PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire is provided. A bead filler is disposed on an outer circumferential side of each bead core in bead portions, a side reinforcing layer having a crescent-shaped cross-section is disposed on an inner side in a tire width direction of a carcass layer in a sidewall portion, and as physical properties of a rubber that constitutes the side reinforcing layer and a rubber that constitutes the bead filler, a modulus at 100% elongation is in a range from 8.4 MPa to 10.2 MPa, a tan δ at 60° C. is in a range from 0.04 to 0.08, and JIS hardness at 20° C. is in the range from 75 to 79.
Large-Sized Tire for Agricultural Vehicle
A tire (1) for a sprayer-type agricultural vehicle, which has a speed index at least equal to D for a maximum speed equal to 65 km/h, which tire is intended to be mounted on a rim with a diameter at least equal to 42 inches, the maximum use pressure of which is at least equal to 3.2 bar and the load index of which is at least equal to 170. The Tire has a crown reinforcement (3) having at most 4 crown layers (31, 32, 33, 34), each having reinforcing elements with a tensile breaking force at least equal to 32 daN and having an aramid strand and a nylon or PET textile fibre strand, the aramid strand having a tensile breaking force at least equal to 30 daN.
Motorcycle tire
A motorcycle tire includes a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions, a pair of bead portions, a toroidal carcass extending between the pair of bead portions, and a belt layer and a band layer disposed outwardly in the tire radial direction of the carcass in the tread portion. The carcass includes a plurality of carcass cords. The band layer includes a jointless band ply having a band cord wound spirally at an angle equal to or less than 5 degrees with respect to a tire circumferential direction. The belt layer includes a plurality of belt cords arranged in a direction intersecting with the carcass cords. The belt cords intersect with the carcass cords at an intersection angle θc in a tread crown region, and intersect with the carcass cords at an intersection angle θs in tread shoulder regions, and the intersection angle θc is greater than the intersection angle θs.
Heavy-duty tire
A heavy-duty tire comprises a tread reinforcing belt comprising first to fourth belt plies each composed of belt cords inclined with respect to the tire equatorial plane. The first radial distance L1 between the belt cords of the third belt ply and the belt cords of the fourth belt ply is not more than the second radial distance L2 between the belt cords of the second belt ply and the belt cords of the third belt ply. The cord count E4 of the fourth belt ply is smaller than the cord count E3 of the third belt ply.
IMPROVED TIRE
The present invention relates to a tyre (1) comprising:—a carcass (5);—at least one high elongation belt (1, 2, 3, 4), being applied as a single cord externally to said carcass (5); and—an external tread portion (6), provided with two or more grooves (7) extending according to a circumferential direction (L) around said tread portion (6), wherein the axial width (Wg) of at least one of said grooves (7), measured according to an axial direction (A) parallel to an axis of rotation (R) of said tyre (10) and orthogonal to said circumferential direction (L), is at most equal to 2 millimeters.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes: a belt layer in which a belt cord is arranged; and a belt reinforcing layer in which an organic fiber cord is arranged, the belt reinforcing layer is formed by coating the organic fiber cord with rubber, and a ratio (Sr/Sc) of a rubber cross-sectional area (Sr) to a cord cross-sectional area (Sc) is 1.0 to 1.5, and a value obtained by dividing, by 1000, a sum of a product (A) of a load LASE5% (N) at 5% elongation of the organic fiber cord, a cord count (per 25 mm), and the number of belt reinforcing layers, and a product (B) of a load (N) at 0.5% elongation of the belt cord, cos θ in which a belt angle is defined as θ, a cord count (per inch), and the number of belt layers is 8.7 or more.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes: a belt layer including a belt cord is arranged; and a belt reinforcing layer in which an organic fiber cord is arranged, the organic fiber cord is a hybrid cord formed by twisting an aramid yarn and a nylon yarn together, and a ratio (Sr/Sc) of a rubber cross-sectional area (Sr) to a cord cross-sectional area (Sc) is 1.5 to 2.0, and a value obtained by dividing, by 1000, a sum of a product (A) of a load LASE5% (N) at 5% elongation of the organic fiber cord, a cord count (per 25 mm), and the number of belt reinforcing layers, and a product (B) of a load (N) at 0.5% elongation of the belt cord, cos θ in which a belt angle is defined as θ, a cord count (per inch), and the number of belt layers is 11 or more.
Heavy duty tire
A tire 2 has a nominal aspect ratio of 65% or less. The tire 2 includes a tread 4 and a band 34. The band 34 includes a full band 42 and a pair of edge bands 44 located outward of ends of the full band 42 in a radial direction. A narrow groove 56 is formed on a shoulder land portion 54s of the tread 4. The narrow groove 56 includes an inner groove wall 62u and an outer groove wall 62s. The inner groove wall 62u includes an inner recess portion 64 recessed inward in the axial direction, on a groove bottom side. The outer groove wall 62s includes an outer recess portion 66 recessed outward in the axial direction, on the groove bottom side.
Agricultural Vehicle Tire with Lightweight Crown
A radial tire (1) for an agricultural vehicle, which tire has a speed index at least equal to D for a maximum speed equal to 65 km/h, has a load index at least equal to 140 and at most equal to 170, and has a tread pattern comprising lugs with a radial height at least equal to 45 mm, having a crown reinforcement (3), consisting of 3 crown layers (31, 32, 33), each having reinforcing elements made of PET having an ultimate tensile strength at least equal to 32 daN, and the angles ANT1 and ANT3 of the reinforcing elements of the radially inner and outer layers (31, 33) with the circumferential direction have the same orientation and are less than 20°, and the angle ANT2 of the reinforcing elements of the median layer (32) with the circumferential direction has an opposite orientation to ANT1 and is greater than 10° plus the absolute value of the average of ANT1 and ANT3.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer, a belt layer radially outward of the carcass layer, and a tread rubber radially outward of the belt layer. The belt layer includes an angle belt having a belt angle ≥45° and ≤70° in absolute values, a pair of cross belts having belt angles of ≥10° and ≤45° in absolute values and having belt angles of mutually opposite signs, and a reinforcing layer having a belt angle within ±5° relative to a circumferential direction. A width Ws of the reinforcing layer and a cross-sectional width Wca of the carcass layer satisfy 0.60≤Ws/Wca≤0.70. The cross belts are radially outward of the large angle belt. The reinforcing layer is radially outward of the pair of cross belts. A width Wb2 of a wider cross belt of the pair and Wca satisfy 0.79≤Wb2/Wca≤0.89.
