PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR HEAVY LOADS
A pneumatic tire includes a belt layer composed of three layers of belts and a rubber layer disposed between a carcass ply and a tread. Each belt has a plurality of cords and a topping rubber covering the plurality of cords. The belt layer includes: a first belt disposed on an outer side of the rubber layer in a tire radial direction; a second belt disposed on an outer side of the first belt in the tire radial direction; and a third belt disposed on an outer side of the second belt in the tire radial direction. A modulus of the rubber layer is the same as a modulus of the topping rubber of the first belt. The rubber layer has a thickness of 1.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less.
TIRE
Provided is a tire comprising at least one reinforcement layer in a tread portion, wherein the reinforcement layer includes a reinforcement element 2 consisting of a plurality of metal filaments 1 that are aligned in a single row without being twisted together, and crosslinked rubber 3 coating the reinforcement element 2, and the metal that constitutes the metal filaments 1 is steel whose surface is coated with a ternary plating of copper, zinc, and iron. This tire has a reinforcement layer with excellent adhesive durability between the steel cord and its coating crosslinked rubber and high fuel efficiency.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire, a tread average thickness A in a tire width direction region of a center land portion where a center cover layer is disposed, a tread average thickness B in a tire width direction region of the center land portion where the center cover layer is not disposed, and a tread average thickness C in tire width direction regions where second land portions located further on an outer side than the center land portion in a tire width direction and adjacent to the center land portion are defined and formed satisfy a relationship A<B<C.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with a band layer disposed radially inside a tread rubber provided with a first circumferential groove. Cords of the band layer are a hybrid cord formed by twisting together a first filament and a second filament having an elastic modulus lower than that of the first filament. In a region radially inside the first circumferential groove, a maximum thickness t1 of topping rubber on the radially outer side of the band cords is not more than 1.0 mm; a minimum distance d1 from the bottom of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 2.0 mm; and a distance d2 from a groove edge of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 15.0 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
In a pneumatic tire, both of a thickness of the first belt layer and a thickness of the second belt layer in the tire center portion are 1.00 mm or less, and when the shortest distance between the cord of the second belt layer and the cord of the first belt layer in the tire center portion is defined as a, and the shortest distance between a cord closest to an end of the second belt layer and a cord of the first belt layer is defined as b, b/a is 1.8 to 4.0, and at an end of the belt, an end rubber is disposed in a predetermined manner on a tire radially inner side of the first belt layer, between the first belt layer and the second belt layer, and on a tire radially outer side the second belt layer.
Tire
A tire can include beads, a carcass, sidewall layers, a tread, a belt, and a band. A carcass ply of the carcass can include a ply body and a pair of turned-up portions. An end of each turned-up portion can be located axially inward of an end of the belt. A ratio of a thickness from the carcass to an outer surface of the tire along a first normal line to a thickness from the carcass to the outer surface of the tire along a second normal line can be not less than 1 and not greater than 2.
