A ratio (Jf/Jr) of a bending stiffness Jf of the band cord 34 of the front tire 2 to a bending stiffness Jr of a band cord 84 of the rear tire 52 is not less than 0.0 and less than 0.7.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
An outer diameter of a pneumatic tire 350 mm or more and 600 mm or less. As RW is defined by a rim width of a rim wheel assembled to the pneumatic tire and SW is defined by a tire width of the pneumatic tire, the relation of 0.78≤RW/SW≤0.99 is satisfied. A carcass has a carcass cord arranged along the tire width direction. The carcass cord is formed of a filament of steel. The outer diameter of the carcass cords is 0.7 mm or less, and a distance between adjacent carcass cords is 4.0 mm or less.
Textile coat rubber composition for a tire and a tire comprising a textile coat rubber composition
In accordance with the invention, a textile cord coat composition for a tire comprises from 70 to 90 phr cis 1,4-polyisoprene rubber, from 10 to 30 phr styrene butadiene rubber, from 25 to 45 phr carbon black, the latter comprising between 1 and 6 phr high surface area carbon black having a BET surface area of more than 700 m.sup.2/g. Moreover, the invention is directed to a textile reinforced ply and a tire comprising such a textile cord coat composition.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer, a belt layer radially outward of the carcass layer, and a tread rubber radially outward of the belt layer. The belt layer includes an angle belt having a belt angle ≥45° and ≤70° in absolute values, a pair of cross belts having belt angles of ≥10° and ≤45° in absolute values and having belt angles of mutually opposite signs, and a reinforcing layer having a belt angle within ±5° relative to a circumferential direction. A width Ws of the reinforcing layer and a cross-sectional width Wca of the carcass layer satisfy 0.60≤Ws/Wca≤0.70. The cross belts are radially outward of the large angle belt. The reinforcing layer is radially outward of the pair of cross belts. A width Wb2 of a wider cross belt of the pair and Wca satisfy 0.79≤Wb2/Wca≤0.89.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE PAIR
A tire pair includes a front tire 2 and a rear tire 52. The front tire 2 includes a pair of beads 18, a carcass 10 extending on and between a first bead 18 and a second bead 18, a tread 4 located outward of the carcass 10 in a radial direction, and a band 14 located between the tread 4 and the carcass 10 in the radial direction. The carcass 10 includes a large number of carcass cords 30 aligned with each other and each tilted relative to an equator plane. The band 14 includes a band cord 34 extending substantially in a circumferential direction. A ratio (Jf/Jr) of a bending stiffness Jf of the band cord 34 of the front tire 2 to a bending stiffness Jr of a band cord 84 of the rear tire 52 is not less than 0.0 and less than 0.7.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a band-shaped sound absorbing member bonded along a tire circumferential direction to the tire inner surface in a tread portion; at least one full cover layer covering the entire width of belt layers on the outer circumferential side of the belt layers; and a center cover layer disposed on the outer circumferential side of the full cover layer, the center cover layer locally covering the tire lateral direction center region of the belt layers; a width SW of the band-shaped sound absorbing member and a width BW of the belt layers satisfying a relationship SW/BW=0.3 to 0.8, and a width CW of the center cover layer and the width SW of the band-shaped sound absorbing member satisfying the relationship CW/SW=0.05 to 0.35.
TIRE
A tire includes a ring-shaped tire skeleton member and a belt. The belt includes a resin-covered cord formed of a reinforcing cord covered with a covering resin. The resin-covered cord is wound in a helical shape in the tire circumference direction on the outer periphery of the tire skeleton member and is joined to the tire skeleton member. Portions of the resin-covered cord that are adjacent to one another in the tire axis direction are joined to one another. An end portion of the resin-covered cord is joined to a portion of the resin-covered cord that is adjacent to a tire axis direction inner side of the end portion, areas of cross sections in a tire diameter direction of the end portion decrease toward a tip of the resin-covered cord, and the reinforcing cord is exposed at a tapered surface of the end portion.
TIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BELT LAYER CONSTITUENT MEMBER
A tire includes: an annular tire frame member; and a belt layer that is provided at an outer periphery of the tire frame member, wherein the belt layer includes a reinforcing cord spirally wound at intervals in a tire width direction, a resin layer that surrounds the reinforcing cord and integrally covers the reinforcing cord across an entire area of the reinforcing cord in the tire width direction, and a bonding layer that is bonded to one surface of the resin layer.
