Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a lateral groove that includes a groove bottom surface extending in a direction crossing a tire circumferential direction, and a protrusion provided on the groove bottom surface and extending in an extension direction of the groove bottom surface. The protrusion includes a main body, and an end portion provided on at least one side in a longitudinal direction of the main body and shaped such that a height of the protrusion from the groove bottom surface decreases from an inside to an outside in the longitudinal direction of the main body. The end portion includes an upper surface that forms a circular arc recessed inward in a tire radial direction in a cross section crossing a width direction of the protrusion.
TRUCK TIRE TREAD WITH ANGLED RIBS HAVING STONE EJECTORS
A heavy truck tire tread (12) is provided that has a tread groove (14) that is not oriented completely in the longitudinal direction so as to extend in both the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. The tread groove is at least partially defined by a leading edge wall and a trailing edge wall and a bottom surface. A stone ejector (24) engages either the leading edge wall or the trailing edge wall but not both the leading edge wall and the trailing edge wall. The stone ejector faces the non-engaged leading edge wall or the trailing edge wall. Also, the tread has an average void depth that does not go past a twenty percent line (36). The twenty percent line (36) is twenty percent of a full void depth (40) located from the outer surface of the tread, and the average void depth does not include decouple grooves and tread outboard from them.
TIRE WITH SHALLOW GROOVE-BASED TREAD WEAR INDICATOR
A tire including a tread wear indicator is provided. The tire includes a pair of sidewalls, in which each sidewall extends from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread includes a plurality of main circumferential grooves, in which the main circumferential grooves are disposed in and proximate an axial center area of the tread. At least one shallow groove is formed in the tread, and each shallow groove includes a depth relative to the surface of the tread that is less than a depth of each of the main circumferential grooves. A primary tread wear indicator is disposed in at least one of the main circumferential grooves, and a secondary tread wear indicator is disposed in the shallow groove.
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire including a utility vehicle tire has a tread with profile positives which are separated from one another in a circumferential direction by transverse channels which extend continuously from the central region of the tread as far as the lateral tread edges, respectively. The transverse channels are main channels of the tread and, at least over the major part of the course thereof, have the maximum provided profile depth. The transverse channels are provided, on the respective channel base thereof, with a row of base elevations formed so as to be distributed over the entire course of the transverse channels. The base elevations are attached to the channel flanks of the transverse channels and are configured such that their rubber volume becomes smaller the closer to the tread edge they are disposed.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes shoulder lands and a center land, defined by main grooves on both sides of an equator in a zigzag pattern along a circumferential direction, are defined in a tread. Shoulder lug grooves extending in a width direction are formed in each of the shoulder lands. First and second center lug grooves, which extend from the shoulder lug grooves across each of the main grooves and are inclined at an angle of 45°-70° with respect to the width direction, are disposed in the center land. The first center lug groove terminates at the equator, and the second center lug groove terminates without reaching the equator. The first and second center lug grooves are alternately disposed in the circumferential direction. Connecting grooves inclined in an opposite direction to an inclination direction of the center lug grooves to connect the center lug grooves are formed in the center land.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a plurality of circumferential main grooves, a plurality of lug grooves, and a plurality of blocks. Raised bottom portions are formed on groove bottoms of shoulder circumferential main grooves that are the circumferential main grooves, among the plurality of circumferential main grooves, positioned most outward in a tire lateral direction, and shoulder lug grooves that are the lug grooves, among the plurality of lug grooves, positioned outward from the shoulder circumferential main grooves in the tire lateral direction and connected to the shoulder circumferential main grooves from outer sides in the tire lateral direction. The raised bottom portions are formed so as to exclude at least intersection portions where the shoulder circumferential main grooves and the shoulder lug grooves intersect.
TIRE WITH EMERGING SNOW FEATURE
A tire includes a circumferential tread extending in a circumferential direction circumscribing an axis of rotation. The circumferential tread includes a transverse groove having a plurality of protrusions protruding from a bottom portion of the transverse groove. One or more of a depth, a width, and a length of the transverse groove decreases in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation. The plurality of protrusions are circumferentially spaced apart across the bottom portion of the transverse groove.
PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH REINFORCING PART
There is provided a pneumatic tire with a reinforcing part which is mounted on a tire wheel, the pneumatic tire including: a tread having a groove that is formed in a circumferential direction of the tire wheel as being recessed toward a central axis of the tire wheel, a kerf that is formed to intersect the groove as being recessed toward the central axis of the tire wheel, and one or more blocks that are formed between the groove and the kerf and come into contact with a road surface; a shoulder formed at a side of the tread; and a reinforcing part inserted into the groove formed between the one or more blocks. The reinforcing part reduces noise produced due to contact with the road surface by being bent one or more times.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tyre including a tread portion, wherein the tread portion has a groove which is oriented at an angle between +45 and −45 degrees with respect to the rolling direction of the tyre, the groove having a depth extending in the radial dimension, wherein the groove includes a plurality of protrusions extending along the direction of the groove, wherein each protrusion has a length in the direction of the groove, a width perpendicular to its length and a height. Each protrusion has a length of at least 75% of the circumferential length of the tyre tread.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire according to an embodiment includes a main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction on a tread, and a plurality of protrusions protruding from a bottom of the main groove and connected to walls on both sides in a tire axial direction of the main groove. Each of the protrusions is provided with a narrow groove extending in an extending direction of the main groove and dividing the protrusion into both sides in the tire axial direction, and the bottom of the narrow groove is at a higher position than the bottom of the main groove.
