Hydraulic lifting mechanism for a large vehicle trailer
11383680 · 2022-07-12 ·

A hydraulic lifting mechanism for a large vehicle trailer comprises a square tubular metallic frame having a base and an upright support structure. A pair of pivoting wheels are disposed at a first base side of the base while a pair of wheels upon an axle are disposed upon a second base side of the base opposite the pivoting wheels. A four armed hydraulic lift is secured upon the upright support structure. At a distal end of the four armed hydraulic lift is a trailer hitch ball. The device is removably securable to a tractor.

Height adjustable implement mount for single-point hitch equipped vehicles
11420489 · 2022-08-23 · ·

An implement mount for height adjustable mounting of an implement to a vehicle. The mount features a hitch coupler for mating with a single-point hitch of the vehicle to reach longitudinally therefrom, and a guide frame defining at least one guide slot lying transverse to the longitudinal direction of the hitch coupler in an upright orientation. At least one link arm is pivotally supported on the hitch coupler, and an implement carrier is coupled to the link arm proximate a rear end thereof. A follower arrangement is engaged between the link arm and the guide slot to constrain movement of the implement carrier to movement along the guide slot. Pivotal movement of the link arm in a first direction lifts the implement carrier along the guide slot, while pivotal moment in a second direction lowers the implement carrier along the guide slot.

Motorcycle towing hitch
11285767 · 2022-03-29 ·

A motorcycle towing hitch 20 includes a receiver 22 to which is attached a lift system 24. The lift system 24 is operable to raise and lower a cradle 26 which receives the front wheel 30 of a motorcycle 32 to hold the front wheel captive in the cradle. The cradle 26 is hinged relative to the lift system to be rotatable about an upright axis 28, for instance, when towing the motorcycle around a corner. A restraint system 34 is provided for preventing the handlebars of the motorcycle to rotate relative to the motorcycle frame. In this manner, when the motorcycle is towed around a corner, the motorcycle frame does not tilt downwardly into the corner as would be the case if the motorcycle frame were permitted to rotate relative to the motorcycle handlebars when negotiating a corner.

Vehicle engagement structure for towing transport devices
11279185 · 2022-03-22 · ·

A vehicle engagement structure for towing transport devices is disclosed, wherein a carrier is configured with respectively an engagement towage mechanism and a drive mechanism; more specifically, the engagement towage mechanism includes an external spiral transmission component and an internal spiral transmission component, the internal spiral transmission component is further mutually in spiral engagement with a spiral rod, and the top end of the spiral rod is sequentially installed with an up-and-down pedestal, a rotation seat, an engagement base and an engagement end applied to connect to a transport device; in addition, the drive mechanism is configured to control the up-and-down pedestal to vertically ascend or descend on the spiral rod, thereby facilitating the engagement end to adapt to the height of the transport device or topographic fluctuations and variations during movement.

Trailer hitch system including actuatable multi-directional trailer hitch and method
11833868 · 2023-12-05 ·

A multi-directional trailer hitch system may include a mounting frame; a first slide assembly configured to slideably engage with the mounting frame, wherein the first slide assembly is configured to slide longitudinally in and out from the mounting frame; a second slide assembly configured to slideably engage with the first slide assembly, wherein the second slide assembly is configured to slide laterally in a side to side direction relative to the first slide assembly; a third slide assembly configured to slideably engage with the second slide assembly, wherein the third slide assembly is configured to slide vertically in an up and down direction relative to the second slide assembly; and one or more actuators configured to selectively effect slide movement of one or more of the first slide assembly, second slide assembly, and third slide assembly.

Vertically articulating trailer hitch receiver for vehicle

A vertically articulating trailer hitch assembly for use with a vehicle, and particularly for use with an autonomous vehicle. The trailer hitch assembly is pivotally attached to the vehicle frame. The hitch assembly is allowed to swing away from the vehicle frame from a lowered position in which the trailer ball is uncoupled from the hitch coupler of the trailer to a raised position in which the trailer ball is coupled to the hitch coupler. The hitch assembly typically includes a receiver that has a long axis. The vehicle frame has a long axis. When the hitch assembly is in its lowered position, the long axis of the receiver is out of alignment with the long axis of the frame. When the hitch assembly is in its raised position, the long axis of the receiver is aligned with the long axis of the frame.
