Stabilizer system for vehicle

In each of a first stabilizer device and a second stabilizer device, a stabilizer bar is supported by one or more cylinders, a communication passage via which two fluid chambers of each cylinder are connected is provided, and an opening-closing valve is disposed in the communication passage such that an inter-fluid-chamber communication state where the two fluid chambers communicate with each other and an inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state where the two fluid chambers are shut off from each other are selectively established. Hereby, a vehicle body roll restraining effect is achieved in the inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state while the vehicle body roll restraining effect is cancelled in the inter-fluid-chamber communication state. A linkage mechanism by which those two states of each of the stabilizer devices are changed in conjunction with each other is provided.

STABILIZING BAR FOR A VEHICLE

A stabilizing bar for a vehicle, comprising: a central portion, which is elongate; a first attachment portion configured to be attached to a first part of the vehicle secured to a first wheel of the vehicle; and a first bearing configured to be attached to the chassis of the vehicle, the stabilizing bar comprising, between the central portion and the first attachment portion, a first curved portion, the first curved portion being curved along a curve having a radius of curvature which is strictly increasing with increasing distance from the first bearing.

STABILIZER BUSH

Provided is a stabilizer bush that ensures improved durability. The stabilizer bush (10) comprises: a bush main body (11) formed from a tubular elastic body having a retention hole (12) through which the stabilizer bar (2) passes; a rigid body portion (14) that is fixed to the bush main body (11) and has a higher rigidity than the bush main body (11); and an elastic film (16) that comprises an elastic body and is in contact with a second surface (14b) of the rigid body portion (14). A part of the elastic film (16) is fitted into depressed portions (15a, 15b) that are depressed from the second surface (14b) to a first surface (14a) side.

STABILIZER CONTROL APPARATUS

The ECU of the stabilizer control apparatus determines, based on a high frequency component of a wheel acceleration and a low frequency component of a wheel speed difference, whether a road surface state is a rough road state or a smooth road state. When the road surface state is determined to be the rough road state, the ECU sets a turning determination threshold to a rough road threshold. When the road surface state is determined to be the smooth road state, the ECU sets the threshold to a smooth road threshold. When a turning determination parameter is greater than the threshold, the ECU sets each of first, second, and third cylinders to a lock state to increase rigidity of stabilizers. When the turning determination parameter is smaller than the turning determination threshold, the ECU sets each of the cylinders to a free state to decrease the rigidity of the stabilizers.

Stabilizer bar adhesive mount for a vehicle stabilizer bar, vehicle stabilizer bar having a stabilizer bar adhesive mount, and method for forming a stabilizer bar adhesive mount on a vehicle stabilizer bar

A stabilizer adhesive bearing for a vehicle stabilizer may comprise an annular sleeve having a resilient inner contour for coaxial arrangement on the vehicle stabilizer. The resilient inner contour of the annular sleeve may comprise on a side facing the vehicle stabilizer a three-dimensionally structured surface with an adhesive receiving volume. The three-dimensionally structured surface has a maximum roughness depth (R.sub.max) greater than 45 μm and a core roughness depth (R.sub.K) of at least 65% relative to the maximum roughness depth (R.sub.max) of the three-dimensionally structured surface. The maximum roughness depth (R.sub.max) is a total of the reduced tip height (R.sub.pk), the core roughness depth (R.sub.K), and the reduced groove depth (R.sub.vk). Further, the reduced tip height (R.sub.pk), the reduced groove depth (R.sub.vk), and the core roughness depth (R.sub.K) may be determined in accordance with EN ISO 13565-2: December 1997.

An antisway system for a vehicle comprises a stabiliser bar, two elastic bushings, and two mounting devices. Each of the two mounting devices includes a pair of mounting brackets for mounting each of the elastic bushings to a body of the vehicle. Each of the two elastic bushings encloses the stabiliser bar and is molded of an elastomeric material and directly mold bonded to the stabiliser bar and to both mounting brackets of the respective mounting device. The two mounting brackets of each mounting device are arranged at a first distance across the stabiliser bar, when the two elastic bushings are in a radially uncompressed state as molded, and at a second distance across the stabiliser bar, that is smaller than the first distance, when the two elastic bushings are in a radially pre-compressed state as mounted to the body of the vehicle.
