To provide a suspension arm having good rigidity and reduced weight, which includes a member A composed of a resin composition containing short fibers having a fiber length of less than 10 mm (short-fiber resin composition), and a member B composed of a resin composition containing continuous fibers having a fiber length of 10 mm or more (continuous-fiber resin composition).

AIR SPRING STRUT WITH A PLASTICS AIR SPRING COVER

An air spring strut for a motor vehicle comprising an air spring with a shock damper for the spring-cushioning and damping of oscillations of a motor vehicle chassis, wherein the air spring comprises an air spring cover and a rolling piston, wherein a rolling bellows of elastomer material is clamped in an airtight manner between the air spring cover and the rolling piston, wherein the air spring cover comprises a damper bearing receptacle in which a damper bearing of the shock damper is arranged, and wherein the air spring cover comprises a clamping base to which a first end of the rolling bellows is attached, wherein at least the damper bearing receptacle of the air spring cover is produced from a plastic material.

SPRING PLATE

A spring plate for supporting a vehicle suspension spring, with a surface facing toward the vehicle suspension spring and with at least one support point, wherein the spring plate has a region which extends from the surface in the direction of the vehicle suspension spring and forms the support point, and wherein a sheet-metal element acting as a corrosion protection element is fastened to the extended region and is in contact with the vehicle suspension spring in all operating states.

AIR SPRING STRUT HAVING A PLASTIC AIR SPRING COVER MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC

Air spring strut for a motor vehicle comprising an air spring with a shock damper for the spring-cushioning and damping of oscillations of a motor vehicle chassis, wherein the air spring comprises an air spring cover and a rolling piston, wherein a rolling bellows of elastomer material is clamped in an airtight manner between the air spring cover and the rolling piston. The air spring cover comprises a damper bearing receptacle in which a damper bearing of the shock damper is arranged, and the air spring cover comprises a clamping base to which a first end of the rolling bellows is attached. At least the damper bearing receptacle of the air spring cover is produced completely from a plastic material, and the plastic material is a thermoplastic.

Hydraulic damper with a hydraulic stop arrangement

A damper assembly includes a main tube disposed on a center axis and defines a fluid chamber for containing a working fluid. A main piston is disposed in the fluid chamber dividing the fluid chamber into a rebound and a compression chamber. A piston rod is attached to the main piston for moving the main piston between a compression stroke and a rebound stroke. An additional piston is attached to the piston rod adjacent to the main piston. The additional piston includes a body having an upper and a lower member defining a groove. A sealing ring is disposed in the groove and being radially expandable in response to a working fluid pressure. The sealing ring includes at least one annular collar extending outwardly from the sealing ring for forming a locking engagement with the upper and lower members to limit the radial expansion of the sealing ring.

A suspension strut includes a telescopic damper, a coil spring and a suspension stop. The rotation of the suspension stop is provided by a bearing including at least one single-piece upper washer and a single-piece lower washer, the upper washer forming a planar annular bearing surface for a rod of the telescopic damper. The interface between the coiled spring and the bearing is provided by a single-piece cup including a body forming a peripheral annular zone for housing an upper end of the coiled spring. The single-piece cup includes an anti-wear coating having a thickness of less than 2 mm, overmolded on the body and at least partially covering the peripheral annular zone housing zone in order to be interposed between the body of the single-piece cup and the upper end of the coil spring.

Rod for connecting members of a motor vehicle, and associated manufacturing method

The invention relates to a connecting rod comprising, at each of its two ends, a connecting part intended to cooperate with an external member, one of these connecting parts comprising a yoke (1) and the other of these connecting parts comprising an eyelet (3), said yoke (1) being connected to said eyelet (3) by a continuous reinforcing strip (5) forming a loop, said yoke (1), said eyelet (3) and said strip (5) being overmolded at least partially by a thermoplastic material (15).

Assembly for receiving a suspension spring of a suspension strut, and associated spring seat

An arrangement for mounting a suspension spring of a spring strut for a motor vehicle may include a spring plate that is arranged on a damper tube of a vibration damper of the spring strut such that an end side of the suspension spring is supported on the spring plate. A protective element for protecting a piston rod of the vibration damper may also be attached to the spring plate. The spring plate may include features that help minimize or even eliminate contact between the protective element and the damper tube. For example, the spring plate may include tongues that extend from a ring-shaped main structure of the spring plate, wherein inner sides of the tongues may lie against the damper tube and outer sides of the tongues may guide the protective element.
