Autonomous Flexible Manufacturing System for Building a Fuselage
A method and apparatus for building a fuselage assembly for an aircraft. A number of fixtures may be drive across a floor to an assembly area to form an assembly fixture. The fuselage assembly may be built on the assembly fixture.
ASSEMBLY FOR A STEERING SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to an assembly for a steering system of a vehicle, the assembly comprising an axle part having a coupling recess, and a steering cylinder having a coupling projection. The coupling projection is received in the coupling recess and an interference fit is formed between the coupling projection and the coupling recess.
MODULAR CLEVIS MOUNT ASSEMBLY
A modular clevis comprising, a first wing and a second wing parallel to one another wherein said first wing has a first opening and said second wing has a second opening, said first opening and said second opening to couple with a structural component of a vehicle. The modular clevis further comprising a plurality of adapter openings. An adapter mount comprising, a shaft opening configured to receive and couple with a shaft of a damper. The adapter mount further comprising a plurality of mount openings to align with said plurality of adapter openings of said modular clevis and to couple with said modular clevis via a plurality of fasteners.
Antivibration device production method, stopper for antivibration device, and antivibration device
Provided are an anti-vibration device manufacturing method, a stopper for an anti-vibration device, and an anti-vibration device all of which prevent easy separation between the stopper and the bracket while improving the ease of fastening the stopper and the bracket together. The anti-vibration device manufacturing method is a method for obtaining the anti-vibration device. The stopper can be formed, by applying a coating agent C, which is configured to be peelable after solidification, to at least a bulging portion (12) of a positioning protrusion (10) of the stopper. The anti-vibration device can be formed, by pressing the bulging portion (12) into a positioning hole A1 formed in the bracket 5, so that the bulging portion (12) is prevented from detaching from the bracket (5), using the stopper after solidification of the coating agent C.
Top mount assembly and method for manufacturing same
A top mount assembly includes an upper plate having a first bushing accommodation portion formed to protrude upward at a center portion; a lower plate disposed below the upper plate and having a second bushing accommodation portion formed to protrude downward at a center portion; a rubber bushing accommodated in an accommodation space defined by the first bushing accommodation portion and the second bushing accommodation portion when the upper plate and the lower plate are coupled to each other; a plurality of bolts coupled to the lower plate and the upper plate so as to protrude upward from the upper plate; an upper housing integrally coupled to the lower plate and the plurality of bolts below the lower plate by an insert injection molding; a lower housing coupled to the upper housing from below the upper housing; and a bearing interposed between the upper housing and the lower housing.
Multi-piece spring perch
A multi-piece spring perch for a coilover shock is disclosed including a pair of half members. The coilover shock includes a rod, a coil spring mounted about the rod and a U-shaped member secured to a lower end of the rod. The multi-piece spring perch is mounted about the rod and the U-shaped member to receive an end of the coil spring, strengthening the connection between the rod and the U-shaped member.
Autonomous flexible manufacturing system for building a fuselage
A method and apparatus for building a fuselage assembly for an aircraft. A number of fixtures may be drive across a floor to an assembly area to form an assembly fixture. The fuselage assembly may be built on the assembly fixture.
Two-stage riveting
A method and apparatus for fastening two parts together. An initial interference fit may be created between a fastener and at least a portion of a hole extending through the two parts while maintaining a force equilibrium. A final interference fit may be created between the fastener and the hole, while maintaining a new force equilibrium.
