TORSION BAR UNIT
A torsion bar unit includes a cylindrical shaped torsion bar including a fiber-reinforced composite material and extending in a first direction, a first holding member having a first groove for holding an end part of the torsion bar, and a second holding member having a second groove for holding the end part of the torsion bar at a position opposite the first groove and sandwiching and holding the end part of the torsion bar between the first groove and the second groove by overlapping the first holding member and the second holding member.
BONDED GUIDE TUBE AND BELLOW ASSEMBLY FOR AIR SPRING
An air spring includes a bellow at least partially delimiting at least one working chamber that is constructed and arranged to be filled with compressed air. A guide tube surrounds at least a portion of the bellow. A bonding agent solely fixes a portion of the bellow to the guide tube. A piston is associated with the bellow. The bellow is constructed and arranged to roll with respect to an outer surface of the piston and an inner surface of the guide tube.
BALL JOINT FOR A CHASSIS
A ball joint having a ball pin and a housing. The ball pin together with the ball is accommodated in the housing to move in a rotational and pivotal manner. The ball is at least partially surrounded by a structural component. The structural component is essentially formed from a fiber-plastic composite structure and at least partially forms the housing.
BEARING SHOE FOR THE MOUNTING OF A LEAF SPRING END OF A LEAF SPRING
The disclosure relates to a bearing shoe for mounting a leaf spring end of a leaf spring on a vehicle body of a motor vehicle, with a receiving recess configured to house the leaf spring end; a bearing opening configured to mount the bearing shoe on the vehicle body, wherein the bearing opening is confined by an inner wall; and an elastomer bearing disposed in the bearing opening, wherein the elastomer bearing comprises an inner sleeve and an elastomer disposed between the inner sleeve and the inner wall of the beating opening and directly contacts the inner wall of the bearing opening.
STABILIZER MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND STABILIZER MANUFACTURING METHOD
A stabilizer manufacturing apparatus is adapted to bond a rubber bush, which is a bush made of rubber disposed between a stabilizer and a vehicle body, to a rubber bush bonding location where an adhesive layer of the stabilizer is formed. The stabilizer manufacturing apparatus is provided with: a curing furnace for heating the stabilizer, which is conveyed by a manufacturing line conveying unit and has the rubber bush bonding location with which the rubber bush is press-contacted, and performing the bonding; a heat source device that heats air; a blower device that sends the air heated by the heat source device as hot air; and a plurality of nozzles that are disposed along the manufacturing line conveying unit in the curing furnace and blow the hot air against, at a near position from, a location in the vicinity of the rubber bush bonding location of the stabilizer.
BONDING JIG AND BONDING METHOD
A bonding jig for crimping and bonding first and second members constituting a damping member to a bonded member includes: a first bonding member configured to hold the first member; a second bonding member configured to hold the second member and cover the first bonding member to crimp the first and second members onto the bonded member; and a switching mechanism configured to switch, in a space where the first bonding member holds the first member, between a first state in which a gap is formed between the first bonding member and a part of a side surface of the first member continuous with a crimping surface with the second member and a second state in which the gap is filled to control a position of the first member.
Spring
This spring used for a suspension device for a vehicle is provided with: a metal wire material which constitutes a spring section and which has a cover layer provided on the surface thereof; and a seat section which is subjected to a load acting on the spring section, is formed from an elastically deformable material, and is bonded to the cover layer by an adhesive. The difference between the hardness of the seat section and the hardness of the adhesive is greater than the difference between the hardness of the adhesive and the hardness of the cover layer.
STABILIZER BAR WITH RUBBER BUSH AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A stabilizer bar with rubber bush includes a stabilizer bar (2), and at least one rubber bush (6) adhesively fixed to at least a portion of the stabilizer bar. The stabilizer bar (2) and the rubber bush (6) are adhesively fixed to each other with an adhesive agent layer (3). The adhesive agent layer (3) includes a primer agent layer (4) formed on a surface of the stabilizer bar (2) and having a dry film thickness of 3 m or more and 13 m or less; and a first top coat agent layer (5) formed on the primer agent layer (4) and having a dry film thickness of 5 m or more and less than 13 m.
SUSPENSION COIL SPRING
An end turn portion of a coil spring includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion is always in contact with a spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of a load applied to the coil spring. The second portion contacts the spring seat when the load applied to the coil spring is large, and is separated from the spring seat when the load is small. The third portion is always separated from the spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of the load. An insulating sheet made of a material having rubber elasticity is attached to a lower surface of a wire at the end turn portion by means of adhesive bonding. The insulating sheet is provided on a lower surface of a region including at least the second portion.
