The elastic half bodies are bonded to an outer circumferential surface of the stabilizer bar such that two circumferential end faces thereof are mutually butted. The plate fitting is embedded in an axial direction. A notch-shaped recess is provided in a corner of axial ends of the circumferential end faces of each elastic half body. The recess extends in a radial direction of the elastic half body and opens onto an inner circumferential surface thereof, and a corner of axial ends of circumferential end portions of the plate fitting is exposed at the recess. A bottom corner of the recess extending in the radial direction of the elastic half body has a curved-concave inner surface shape.

Oscillating arm of a motor-vehicle suspension

It is herein described an oscillating arm for a motor-vehicle suspension having a first rod element and a second rod element. The second rod element is a half-shell rod that provides a cavity. The oscillating arm also comprises at least one insert, made of plastic or fiber-reinforced composite material, which fills the cavity of the half-shell rod.

Vehicle stabilizer device

A stabilizer device includes a stabilizer extending in a width direction of a vehicle, and a bush unit. The bush unit includes a bracket formed of metal, and a rubber bush. The rubber bush is formed of a plurality of bush pieces, and is fixed to the stabilizer by an adhesion layer. The adhesion layer is constituted of an adhesion member including an adhesive applied to inner surfaces of the bush pieces. A bonding display portion formed of a part of the adhesion member is provided at a corner on an end face of the bush piece.

STABILIZER ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A stabilizer unit for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing such a stabilizer unit, the stabilizer unit comprising a stabilizer bar, at least one bearing including a flange, made of plastic material, including at least one retaining portion and one groove including a cradle portion, wherein the stabilizer bar passes through the groove of the flange and is secured to the flange by means of a vulcanized elastomer layer.

SPHERICAL SUPPORT FOR A SPRING SEAT IN A VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
20200207173 · 2020-07-02 ·

A spring-damper assembly includes a damper, a coil spring disposed axially about the damper and directly or indirectly engaging an upper spring seat and a lower spring seat. A spherical support is disposed about and coupled to the damper or strut and is in contact with the upper spring seat or the lower spring seat, respectively. The spherical support allows relative movement between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat to provide a self-aligning feature for minimizing side forces exerted by the coil spring on the damper or strut. In one exemplary embodiment, a layer of material is disposed between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat to facilitate relative movement between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat.
