Vehicle construction having a rigid top element and a rear window that can be opened
A vehicle construction having a displaceable top between a closed-top position and a cleared position and that has, in a rear portion of the top, a rigid top part element extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle and being movable, a rear pillar on each of the two sides in relation a vertical longitudinal center plane of the vehicle as well as a rear window that can be displaced between a closed position, in which it closes a vehicle tail opening, and an open position, in which the tail opening is cleared at least partially. A circumferential sealing system that is in contact with the rear pillars and against the rigid top part in the closed position of the rear window, in relation to the vehicle environment from the inside, is linked to the rear window in a permanent fashion.
Liftgate assembly
A vehicle liftgate assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a vehicle body, a liftgate bracket, a liftgate rotatably mounted to the vehicle body by way of the liftgate bracket, and a strut connected to the liftgate bracket to regulate rotational movement of the liftgate bracket. This disclosure also relates to a method and a rotation assembly, which may include a liftgate bracket and a flipglass bracket.
WINDOW ARRANGEMENT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A WINDOW ARRANGEMENT
A window arrangement of a motor vehicle is provided having a window pane unit, which can be linked to a vehicle bodywork via a first and second hinge arrangement, the two hinge arrangements defining a common pivot axis of the window pane unit and each comprising two hinge parts, which are connected to each other in an articulated manner, and which can be separated from each other without the use of tools, the two hinge parts of the first hinge arrangement, in a single defined pivoted position being movable with respect to each other and being separable from each other in the radial direction in relation to the pivot axis and the two hinge parts of the second hinge arrangement, in relation to the pivot axis, only being separable from each other in the axial direction when the two hinge parts of the first hinge arrangement have been detached.

Rear liftgate window assembly with integrated lighting
A rear liftgate window assembly for a vehicle includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotally mounted at a rear portion of a vehicle so as to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A lighting device is disposed at an inner surface of the glass window panel and includes (i) at least one light source adhesively attached at the inner surface of the glass window panel, (ii) electrical connectors disposed at the inner surface of the glass window panel, and (iii) electrically conductive traces established at the inner surface of the glass window panel between the light sources and the electrical connectors. The electrical connectors are configured to electrically connect to a power source of the vehicle when the rear liftgate window assembly is mounted at the vehicle.

Vehicle Construction Having a Rigid Top Element and a Rear Window That Can Be Opened
A vehicle construction is proposed, having a displaceable top between a closed-top position and a cleared position and that has, in the rear, a top element extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle and being movable and rigid, a rear pillar on each of the two sides in relation a vertical longitudinal center plane of the vehicle as well as a rear window that can be displaced between a closed position, in which it closes a vehicle tail opening, and an open position, in which the tail opening is cleared at least partially. A circumferential sealing system that is in contact with the rear pillars and against the rigid top part in the closed position of the rear window, in relation to the vehicle environment from the inside, is linked to the rear window in a permanent fashion.
Removable rear window assembly
A vehicle includes a body having a wall extending cross-vehicle and having an upper edge defining a roller surface with at least one locator aperture, a structural frame at least partially defining a rear window opening with the wall, and a removable rear window assembly configured for removable coupling with the vehicle. The removable rear window assembly includes at least one rolling locator assembly configured to roll across the roller surface to support at least a portion of a weight of the rear window assembly to facilitate assisting a user with installing and/or removing the rear window assembly into or out of the rear window opening.
Vehicle having a folding mid-gate with an integrated seat
A vehicle including a passenger compartment and a cargo area extending from the passenger compartment. The cargo area includes a cargo bed having a support surface. A mid-gate includes a first surface exposed to the passenger compartment and a second surface exposed to the cargo area. The mid-gate is pivotally connected relative to the cargo bed between a first position wherein the mid-gate separates the cargo area from the passenger compartment and a second position wherein the second surface forms part of the support surface.
