Integrated Shade System as a Window Covering
20170145739 · 2017-05-25 · ·

A shade system that is designed to shield at least part of a space from light and be embedded into a stable structure or frame, comprises: a top fixture, a bottom fixture, an attachment component, wherein the attachment component is held in place by the top fixture and the bottom fixture, and a flexible light or sun shield component, wherein the shield component is retractably attached to the attachment component. It should be understood that a contemplated shade system is designed to shield the interior of a car, boat, vehicle or space from sunlight, street light or bright light to a fixture, such as a neon sign. Methods of securing and using contemplated shade systems are also disclosed.

Shading device for a window pane of an automotive vehicle
09649914 · 2017-05-16 · ·

Shading device including a shading structure displaceable between a lowered rest position and a deployed shading position in lateral guiding rails fixed to the vehicle. The shading structure is lowered through a passage into an accommodation chamber, wherein the passage is closed by a pivotably mounted lid. A control mechanism transfers the lid, in response to movement of a drive transmission, into an opened position. The control mechanism includes a control slider movably mounted transverse to the direction of displacement of the shading structure and in operative mechanical connection to the lid. The control mechanism includes a deflection device coupling the control slider, upon a movement of the drive transmission, to the drive transmission such that the control slider, upon movement of the drive transmission from the rest position of the shading structure in the direction of the shading position, transfers the closing lid to the opened position.

ELECTRIC DOOR CURTAIN FOR VEHICLE
20170113518 · 2017-04-27 ·

An electric door curtain for a vehicle includes: guide rails disposed at both sides of a door panel of the vehicle; a curtain guide fixing shaft fixed to lower ends of the guide rails; a curtain moving shaft disposed over the curtain guide fixing shaft, coupled to the guide rails, and configured to move up and down; a motor equipped in the door panel, connected to the curtain moving shaft to supply power thereto, and supplying power to the curtain moving shaft to cause the curtain moving shaft to move up and down; a screen-type curtain with a lower end that is fixed to the curtain moving shaft and wound on the curtain guide fixing shaft and with an upper end that is connected to a curtain support bar; and a curtain tensioner disposed in a door glass frame at a top of the door panel, coupled to the curtain support bar, and pulling the screen-type curtain with a particular tension to keep the screen-type curtain taut.

Package tray assembly of a vehicle

A package tray assembly of a vehicle includes a package tray panel and a Z-member. The package tray panel may be located adjacent a rear window cutout and defines a speaker cutout in a substantially central region of the panel, a first edge, and a second edge. The Z-member may be mounted to the panel adjacent the speaker cutout and spans across the panel from the first edge to the second edge, or from substantially the first edge to the second edge, to structurally reinforce the package tray panel and reduce vibration therein. The Z-member may be mounted to an under surface of the package tray panel and proximate a sunshade to reduce vibration within the sunshade resulting from activation of a speaker at least partially extending through the speaker cutout.

ROTATING SHAFT MOVEMENT STRUCTURE FOR DOOR CURTAIN
20170096052 · 2017-04-06 ·

A rotating shaft movement structure for a door curtain is provided. The rotating shaft movement structure includes a shaft that is mounted to a door trim panel at a position adjacent to a window glass of a vehicle and the door curtain is wound around the shaft. A stationary cover is disposed at an end of the shaft and includes a slit into which the end of the shaft is inserted. The shaft is vertically movable as the end of the shaft slides in the slit, whereby variation in assembly between the left and right sides of the door curtain may be compensated.

SHADE APPARATUS

A guide block has a guide projection wall and a guide upper wall. The guide projection wall deviates from an end of a side-held portion in the folded-back state toward the start point of folding-back while moving toward a winding shaft along the longitudinal direction of a guide rail. The guide upper wall deviates in the direction orthogonal to a plane in which a shading sheet is unrolled and toward the shading sheet and abuts on the side-held portion being unfolded while moving toward the winding shaft along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail.

Solar-powered vehicle interior temperature management system
12319119 · 2025-06-03 ·

A solar-powered vehicle interior temperature management system includes a flexible sun blocking textile configured for mounting on a vehicle's interior windshield surface, with integrated photovoltaic panels on its outward-facing surface. The system includes a spring roller mounting mechanism at the windshield's upper edge and fasteners at the lower edge for dashboard attachment. An enclosure mounted adjacent to the spring roller houses rechargeable batteries and squirrel cage fans. The photovoltaic panels collect solar energy and charge the batteries through a charge controller. When activated via a power switch, the fans create air movement to cool the vehicle interior. The entire system mounts on the interior side of the windshield, protecting components from weather and vandalism while requiring no permanent vehicle modifications. The flexible textile construction allows the system to be rolled for storage when not in use, while maintaining solar charging capability during deployment.

MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ROOF MODULE
20250289524 · 2025-09-18 ·

A manufacturing method for a roof module includes: a step of fixing a mounting member to an inner surface of a roof panel; a step of assembling a shade unit provided with a pair of guide rails, a shade sheet, and a winding device; a step of attaching a jig for keeping the guide rails parallel to each other to the shade unit; a step of fixing the shade unit to which the jig is attached to the mounting member; and a step of detaching the jig from the shade unit mounted to the inner surface of the roof panel.
