Latch structure of tonneau cover
A truck cover system including a rail, a clamp structure, a latch structure, and a weather seal. The rail defines a cover slot for a cover that extends over a truck bed. The clamp structure is configured to couple to a truck wall of the truck. The clamp structure includes a clamp fastener configured to tighten the clamp structure against the truck wall. The clamp structure also includes a connecting member extending in the vertical direction when the truck cover system is employed and the clamp structure is coupled to the truck wall. The latch structure is configured to couple to the rail and to the clamp structure. The latch structure includes a rail interface configured to couple to the rail and a latch body including a plurality of laterally-offset locking positions. The connecting member is configured to lock to one of the plurality of laterally-offset locking positions.
Soft tonneau cover with supporting cross bar
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a tonneau cover for covering a pickup truck's cargo bed may include a frame structure for attaching to walls of the cargo bed. The tonneau cover may include a soft cover for covering the cargo bed, wherein the soft cover has edges that can be attached to the frame structure, and a cross bar attached to an inner side of the soft cover. When the soft cover is in a closed position, two ends of the cross bar are supported by the frame structure, and at least a portion of the soft cover is supported by the cross bar.
Quick release canister
A canister comprising: (a) a space configured to receive a tonneau cover so that the tonneau cover is stored within the canister; and (b) one or more track guides that guide the canister relative to a roller track, a bed of a vehicle, a rail extension, a cap, or a combination thereof; and wherein the one or more track guides assist the canister in being inserted into or removed from the bed of the vehicle.
Quick release assembly for electric side roll tarps
A quick release assembly for a side roll tarp has a roll-tube coupler connected to a roll-tube for rolling and unrolling the side roll tarp. A drive coupler is connected to a shaft of a motor, the drive coupler fitting within an opening in the roll-tube coupler. The drive coupler has a first groove and second groove circumferentially around an exterior of a circular shaft below a head portion of the driver coupler. A quick release pin traverses through a pair of tangential openings in the body of the roll-tube coupler to engage the first or second grooves of the drive coupler, wherein the driver coupler is engaged with the roll-tube coupler when in the first groove allowing the motor to drive the roll-tube and disengaged from the roll-tube coupler when in the second groove allowing the roll-tube to be rotated independently of the motor.
RESILIENT SNAP CONNECTOR SYSTEM
The resilient snap connector system includes a resilient connector strap selectively coupled to a first connector and a second connector spaced from the first connector to form a bridged connection between the first and second connectors. In a typical use, the first connector is fixed to a deformable object, such as a tarp, and the second connector is fixed to another object, such as a hull. The resilient connector strap enables connection between the objects when the separation distance may be too long for normal engagement of the connectors by stretching to accommodate the separation. A pull tab is provided on the resilient connector strap to assist in the stretching and coupling.
TONNEAU COVER OPENING AND LOCKING SYSTEM
The tonneau cover opening and locking system, object of the present invention, comprises a profile (10) provided with fastening and fitting components (30), (40), (50) and (80), actuated by rods (70), which contains a compensating mechanism for stretching the tarpaulin and which allows the user to perform the opening movement in an fast, quick and practical way, due to a set of actuators that facilitate user access and allow the easy release of the fixing locks. The system also incorporates solutions that increase the reliability and lifetime of mechanical locking. This new embodiment adds greater practicality to the tonneau cover locking and opening system, ensuring greater efficiency, lifetime, usability and greater flexibility in the opening and closing movement by the user.
MODULAR CORNER UPLIFT ASSEMBLY
A joint system for use with a plurality of bows in an uplift of a tarpaulin system having a joint and a base insert with, a body component with a first base end and a second base end, a third coupling member extending from the first base end, the third coupling member adapted to releasably engage with a free end of one of the plurality of bows, a fourth coupling member fixed to the second base end, the fourth coupling member adapted to be securable to a component of the uplift, and a third support extending from the first base end proximate the third coupling member for engaging with the bow releasably secured with the third coupling member.
TONNEAU COVER SYSTEM WITH INSERT FOR SUPPORTING CROSS-BOW MEMBERS
A frame rail assembly for supporting a tonneau cover comprising: opposing frame rails locatable on a cargo area of a vehicle, each of the opposing frame rails having one or more slots formed therein; and one or more inserts that fit within the one or more slots respectively; wherein the one or more inserts are shaped to fit substantially flush with a transverse cross-sectional profile of the opposing frame rails.
AUTO LOCKING MECHANISM
Provided herein is an auto locking mechanism for use with a flat bed and a sliding tarpaulin system. The auto locking mechanism comprises a stationary guide having a longitudinal axis, where the stationary guide is securable to the flat bed between the flat bed and the sliding tarpaulin system, and a mobile component slidably coupled to the stationary guide along the longitudinal axis. The auto locking mechanism also includes an actuator that is operatively coupled to the mobile component. The actuator is adapted to impart motion to the mobile component relative to the stationary guide. The auto locking mechanism further includes an engagement arm secured to the mobile component for engagement with the sliding tarpaulin system. Movement imparted on the mobile component by the actuator slides the mobile component and the engagement arm relative to the stationary guide, thereby moving the sliding tarpaulin system relative to the flat bed.
Resilient cover clip
A resilient clip can be used for covers for equipment. The resilient clip has a portion that can be inserted into a channel on the equipment, a portion that can be attached to a cover, and a portion that can be used to remove the clip from the channel.
