A top-loadable cargo trailer has one or more top doors mounted to a container using hinge assemblies which are located entirely within a perimeter of the container when the top door is closed. In this way, no part of the full width, length, or height of the container is taken up by overhanding hinges, and in jurisdictions limiting container width, length, and height no amount of container volume is sacrificed due to hinge overhang. The hinge assemblies have a compound, or dual hinge biased by a resistance mechanism such as a coil spring to provide an orderly opening and closing sequence of the top door. When fully open, the top door hangs vertically flush against the container wall, thus minimize hazard to works and equipment moving about the container.

A dual action truck cover provides two modes, actions or ways to access contents in a truck bed. Side rails can be mountable to a cargo box so as to be pivotable between a raised position to provide a rear opening in an open pivot arrangement, and a lowered or closed pivot arrangement. The side rails can be spaced apart to define an inter-rail area therebetween. A door can include a plurality of elements hingedly coupled together and extending between the side rails and movable between a closed door arrangement wherein the elements cover the inter-rail area, and an open door arrangement in which the elements are positioned to permit access through the inter-rail area. The door can move between the open and closed arrangements by rolling up the hingedly coupled elements together or folding the elements together.

The truck bed enclosure is an apparatus that provides a comfortable and secure environment within a truck. The apparatus includes a first bed cover, a second bed cover, a first side rack, a second rack, and a truck bed. The first bed cover and the second bed cover uphold the first side rack the second side rack, respectively, as well as open and close the truck bed. The first side rack and the second side rack serve as a rack to secure and uphold various items while in a retracted configuration. The first side rack and the second side rack also serve as a bench while in an extended configuration. The first bed cover and second bed cover also include a first window and second window. A tonneau cover apparatus for removable attachment to a cargo box of a pickup truck including a support frame assembly and a cover assembly. The cover assembly includes a plurality of pivotally interconnected rigid panels that can be folded up and secured to the cargo box such that respective upper surfaces of at least two of the plurality of rigid panels reside in an upright folded orientation. The tonneau cover apparatus further includes a mechanism for securing the at least two of the plurality of rigid panels in the upright folded orientation. A method of removably securing the tonneau cover apparatus to the pickup truck is also described, as is an alternate embodiment of the tonneau cover apparatus, wherein the cover assembly includes first and second pivotally interconnected rigid panels and a pair of hinge support mechanisms that generally restrict the way the second rigid panel pivots.

A collapsible trunk for use with a vehicle having a wheel well. The trunk comprises a base wall and a side wall pivotally connected thereto. The side wall extends from the base wall and terminates at an upper edge. The side wall and base wall collectively define a storage cavity. The base wall and the side wall each have an expandable portion conformable to the wheel well in response to placement of the base wall and the side wall over the wheel well. The trunk is selectively transitional between a collapsed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the collapsed configuration, the base panels overlap each other, and in the deployed configuration, the plurality of base panels are co-planar to each other. The upper edge of the side wall moves away from the base wall as the trunk transitions from the collapsed configuration toward the deployed configuration.

A convertible sidewall extender to truck bed cover assembly includes a pair of panels that each has an outside edge. Each outside edge is hingedly coupled to a respective side rail of a truck bed. Each of a plurality of doors is hingedly coupled to a respective panel, such that the door is positioned to cover a respective opening in the respective panel. The doors are configured to allow access to the truck bed. Each of a plurality of support rods is positionable between the pair of panels proximate to inside edges of the pair of panels. The support rods are positionable to support the pair of panels in an open configuration where the pair of panels is in substantial parallelism with the side rails of the truck bed.

A vehicle cargo bed has a cargo floor, opposing sidewalls, and a bed lid connected to the cargo bed. The cargo bed is used for transporting objects. The bed lid moves between an open position and a closed position on hinges near a passenger compartment. The floor includes a spare tire cavity. Each sidewall has an interior surface and an exterior surface defining a side of the cargo bed from the passenger compartment to an opposite end of the bed. The sidewalls extend up from the periphery of the floor and each has an upper surface that descends from the passenger compartment and from the opposite end of the cargo bed to form a horizontal surface in between. The bed lid has sidewalls that conform to the bed sidewalls.

A motorcycle trailer that includes a box trailer bed. The motorcycle trailer also includes a hinged lift lid, the lift lid including aerodynamic curvature on the front top and rear top. The motorcycle trailer additionally includes at least one lid latch positioned and structured on the off-road side of the hinged lift lid for fastening and unfastening the hinged lift lid closed selectively and the hinged lift lid having lid curvature corresponding to the aerodynamic curvature of the front top and the aerodynamic curvature of the rear top of the box trailer bed. The motorcycle trailer also includes the box trailer bed being affixed to a trailer frame, a road-side wheel suspended from the roadway side of the trailer frame with a road-side spring member and an off-road-side wheel suspended from the off-road side of the trailer frame with an off-road-side spring member.
