HYBRID DRIVE SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND METHOD TO OPERATE THE SAME
A hybrid drive system for electric vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a rear wheel. The system also includes a first motor mechanically coupled to the rear wheel and an internal combustion engine. The first motor is configured to drive power for the electrical vehicle to reach a fraction of a predetermined threshold value of rotations per minute (RPM). The system also includes a second motor mechanically coupled to the internal combustion engine via the chain drive transmission unit with a one way bearing. The second motor is configured to receive an activation signal to power the internal combustion engine to transfer the power driven to the rear wheel via the continuously variable transmission unit upon attaining the fraction of the predetermined threshold value of rotations per minute (RPM) by the first motor.
HYBRID VEHICLE
A hybrid vehicle includes: an oil passage including a common oil passage through which lubricating oil discharged from an oil pump flows, an engine lubricating oil passage extending from the common oil passage toward an engine internal space, and a transmission lubricating oil passage extending from the common oil passage toward a transmission internal space; and a variable throttle valve that can change a flow rate in the transmission lubricating oil passage. The variable throttle valve increases an opening degree of the variable throttle valve in a mode transition in which a first traveling mode in which the hybrid vehicle travels by driving power of an engine transitions to a second traveling mode in which the hybrid vehicle stops the engine and travels by the driving power of the electric motor.
Drive train for a motor vehicle
A drive train for a motor vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine which has a crankshaft and is designed to provide drive power for the motor vehicle. A clutch arrangement has an input member and at least one output member, the input member being connected to the crankshaft. A transmission arrangement implements a plurality of gear stages, the transmission arrangement having a transmission housing, at least one input shaft, and at least one output shaft. The output shaft is connectable to driven wheels of the motor vehicle. An electric machine is designed to provide drive power for the motor vehicle and is connected to a transmission shaft of the transmission arrangement. The transmission shaft has a shaft section which extends from the transmission housing and is connected to the electric machine via a traction drive mechanism.
VEHICLE DRIVE UNIT
A vehicle drive unit includes an internal combustion engine (21), an electromotive unit (23) having a first electric motor (31) and a second electric motor (33), an inverter (27) disposed above the electromotive unit, a first harness (41) that electrically connects the inverter and a first terminal block (61) of the first electric motor, and a second harness (42) that electrically connects the inverter and a second terminal block (62) of the second electric motor. The first electric motor and the second electric motor are disposed in a vehicle front-rear direction. Of the first electric motor and the second electric motor, one electric motor is disposed on the front side in the front-rear direction, and the other electric motor is disposed on the rear side in the front-rear direction. The other electric motor is offset upward in the up-down direction with respect to the one electric motor. The electromotive unit has a predetermined space (A) formed: in a region above the one electric motor and in rear of the front end of the one electric motor; and in a region in front of the other motor and below the upper end of the other electric motor. The first terminal block and the second terminal block are located in the predetermined space.
DRIVE DEVICE FOR A HYBRID-DRIVE MOTOR VEHICLE
A drive device for a hybrid-drive motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine as a primary drive, an electric engine as a secondary drive, and having planetary gear units that are coupled with one another that can be shifted into different gear steps through shift elements and brakes. The planetary gear units being connectable to a common output shaft by way of input elements and output elements. The reaction elements thereof can be coupled or firmly braked, wherein the drive device can be operated in an electromotor drive, a primary drive having gear steps (gears), or in a hybrid drive.
MULTI-STATE POWERTRAIN SYSTEM INCLUDING A SINGLE TORQUE MACHINE
A powertrain system is described, and includes an internal combustion engine having a crank member, a torque machine having a rotatable shaft member, and a transmission having an input member and an output member. The crank member of the internal combustion engine is couplable to the input member of the transmission. The rotatable shaft member of the torque machine is couplable to the crank member of the internal combustion engine at a first gear ratio. The rotatable shaft member of the torque machine is couplable to the input member of the transmission at a second gear ratio. The first gear ratio is less than the second gear ratio.
HYBRID ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
Present invention relates to a vehicle (100) comprising a hybrid electric drive system (106) comprising an electric motor (108) and an epicyclic gear system (110), a common propeller shaft (236) and an internal combustion (IC) engine assembly (118) with a gearbox (116). The hybrid electric drive system (106) is configured between IC engine assembly (118), gearbox (116) and a rear axle differential (238). The hybrid electric drive system (106) performs dual role of allowing drive from each powertrain to be transmitted individually to wheels of the vehicle (102, 104) and adding the drive from each powertrain together and seamlessly transmitting to the wheels of the vehicle (102, 104). Power from both the IC engine (118) and the hybrid electric drive system (106) is transmitted by the common propeller shaft (236) to the rear axle differential (238) through a differential gear.
Compact Hybrid Transmission in a Composite Design
A hybrid transmission (18) for a motor vehicle drive train (12) of a motor vehicle (10) includes: a first transmission input shaft (24) for operatively connecting the hybrid transmission to an internal combustion engine (16); a second transmission input shaft (26) for operatively connecting the hybrid transmission to a first electric prime mover (14); an output shaft (28) for operatively connecting the hybrid transmission to a drive output (32); a planetary gear set (RS) connected to the second transmission input shaft and to the output shaft; spur gear pairs (ST1, ST2, ST3) arranged in multiple gear set planes for forming gear steps; and a plurality of gear change devices with shift elements (A, B, C, D, E, F) for engaging gear steps. The output shaft is of a countershaft design, and the planetary gear set is interlockable when decoupled from the first transmission input shaft.
POWER TRAIN WITH A VARIABLE-SPEED TRANSMISSION AND MOTOR VEHICLE OF HYBRID TYPE USING SUCH A POWER TRAIN
The present invention relates to a powertrain for a motor vehicle comprising a thermal engine (10), a variable-speed transmission device (14) including an engine epicyclic gear train (26) with a sun gear (36) carried by a hollow shaft (42) and a crown gear (56) carried by a hollow shaft (62) surrounding hollow shaft (42) of the sun gear, the sun gear and the crown gear are each connected to shaft (12) of thermal engine (10) by a controlled clutch (28 and 30) and to a fixed part (48) of the vehicle by a one-way clutch (32 and 34), and a track (126 and 128) for motion transmission to a drive axle (16). According to the invention, the powertrain comprises a controlled connection (132) between the two hollow shafts (42 and 62).
IMPROVED FILTERING PULLEY
A filtering pulley has a hub configured to be fixed to a shaft for rotation thereabout, a crown mounted coaxial and rotationally free on the hub, and a plurality of elastic groups arranged circumferentially with respect to the hub and to the crown and interposed, each, between a pair of first elements integral with the hub and between a pair of second elements integral with the crown. The first elements have at least two spokes, carried by an actuator that is made of two portions that are selectively geared between them to selectively connect the crown to the hub.
