The end surface is coated with plastic. The connecting column is provided with a notch, and the number of the connecting column is at least one. The connecting column is configured in an I-shape, an H-shape, an M-shape, a W-shape or other shapes. The shape of the notch is V-shaped, U-shaped, semicircular or irregular. The notch is provided on a left side or a right side of the connecting column or in a middle of the connecting column.

Pressure regulating device and method for assembling same, for a fuel vapour absorber

The fuel vapor absorber includes, on a housing member and separately from an air inlet, an orifice for the circulation of fuel vapors coming from a tank. A pipe for supplying these vapors passes through the housing member via the orifice and forms a support for a pressure regulating valve, provided with a valve body and a closure member. The pipe, provided for adaptation between the valve and the housing, is fastened to the housing member, forming at least one annular sealing area surrounding the pipe. The valve, which is fastened by snap-fitting or the like, may be housed in the inside volume of the absorber, where an absorption product is stored. The pipe is typically mounted on the inner face side of the housing member and may be directly welded.

RESIN FILLER TUBE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A resin filler tube includes: a tubular body; a flange that protrudes radially outward from an end of the tubular body on a fuel tank side, over an entire circumference, has a plurality of layers that are of same kinds as those of the tubular body, has outer faces all of which are formed of an outermost layer material, and has a first end face, in an axial direction, forming a weld surface to be welded to an outer circumferential edge of an opening hole of the fuel tank; and a leading end tubular portion extending from a radially inner portion of the flange toward a leading end of the filler tube, and having an annular recessed groove formed at a portion of an outer circumferential surface on the flange side, over an entire circumference, for storing a melt burr generated in welding of the first end face.

RESIN FILLER TUBE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A resin filler tube includes: a tubular body; a flange having a diameter greater than an outer diameter of the tubular body, a thickness greater than a thickness of the tubular body, and a predetermined width in an axial direction, and having a first axial end face forming a weld surface to be welded to an outer circumferential edge of an opening hole of a fuel tank; and a base-end-side reverse tapered portion which connects between an end of the tubular body on the fuel tank side and an end of an outer circumferential surface of the flange on a side opposite to the fuel tank side, and which is reversely tapered so as to increase a diameter toward the flange. The base-end-side reverse tapered portion has an inner diameter that is not less than an inner diameter of the tubular body over an entire range in the axial direction.

Liquid vehicle tank comprising a fastened component

A liquid vehicle tank (1) having a wall made of a plastic material, the tank (1) comprising a component (3, 5) affixed to the wall, the component (3, 5) having a portion (10) embedded in the wall, the embedded portion (10) having an external surface (21) a part of which is chemically incompatible with the plastic material of the wall, wherein the tank (1) also comprises a strengthening element welded to the wall over the embedded portion (10) of the component (3, 5).

A plastic filler neck for vehicles includes a fuel injection pipe, a retainer inserted and fastened into an internal space of a tip of the fuel injection pipe to support a refueling gun, a cap holder directly fastened to the tip of the fuel injection pipe by fusion, and an air drain casing mounted, by a mounting bracket, to an outer diameter portion of the cap holder fastened to the fuel injection pipe.

DEVICE FOR REINFORCING VEHICLE FUEL TANK
20210138894 · 2021-05-13 · ·

A device for reinforcing vehicle fuel tank improves a structure of a rigid reinforcement pillar mounted in an enclosed fuel tank by maintaining stiffness of the reinforcement pillar in a state in which the fuel tank is under positive pressure and an engine negative pressure acts thereon as well as inducing breakage of the reinforcement pillar when a large impact applies, such as in the event of vehicle collision, thereby preventing a fused portion between upper and lower plates of the fuel tank from rupturing.

DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID TANK

Systems and apparatuses include a fuel tank structured to be coupled to a vehicle, a diesel exhaust fluid tank, and a tank coupling system rigidly coupling the diesel exhaust fluid tank to the fuel tank.

Tank comprising a reinforcement member and method for manufacturing such a reinforcement member
