It is provided here that a dip tube, which can be arranged in the fluid tank, and which is fluidically connected to the connecting piece, originates from the connecting piece, wherein a flow resistance formed by a constricted flow cross section is provided in the dip tube. The application furthermore relates to a fluid tank assembly.

METHOD FOR DETECTING DEFECTIVE GAS FLOW IN A PURGE DEVICE VENT LINE
20200377360 · 2020-12-03 ·

A method for detecting defective gas flow in a vent line of a device for purging a fuel vapor absorption filter of a vehicle's internal combustion engine during filling the vehicle's tank with fuel from a filler nozzle having a venturi effect duct, so as to stop the filling when the duct is full of fuel. The vent line connecting the fuel tank to the filter. The tank having: a filler pipe, at the end of which is a stopper designed so that, during filling with fuel from the filling nozzle, fuel vapors are evacuated through the vent line. At least one gauge measures fuel volume in the tank. The detection method continuously measuring the volume of fuel in the tank during filling and comparing a volume profile thus measured with respect to time against a predetermined volume profile. A defective flow detected if the two profiles do not match.

OPENING DEVICE FOR UREA WATER INLET OF VEHICLE

An opening device for a urea water inlet may include a first body configured to be provided on an external side of an inlet of a urea filler neck; a second body disposed at an upper end portion of the first body with a ventilation gap between the first body and the second body, and provided with an internal space to be disposed above the inlet; a cover disposed at an upper end portion of the second body, and configured to receive a force to open the internal space of the second body; an opener provided in the second body, and configured to hold the cover at the upper portion of the second body when the cover is configured to close the internal space, and to release holding of the cover when being pressed toward an interior of the second body; and a membrane disposed between the first body and the second body to pass only air therethrough while covering the ventilation gap.

In a fuel port forming portion that forms a fuel port, a portion of a peripheral wall located on a perpendicular lower side when a fuel supply device is in a mounting posture of being mounted to a vehicle formed as a convex drain groove from a corner portion at which an insertion-side open/close member for opening/closing the fuel port makes contact with an open base portion of the fuel port to an open end side of the fuel port. The drain groove is inclined in a horizontal direction such that the open end side of the fuel port is located closer to the perpendicular lower side than a corner portion side when the fuel supply device is in the mounting posture, to thereby improve draining function of the drain groove provided to the fuel port.

Opening/closing device of fuel tank

In a housing surrounding a nozzle insertion passage, a first opening open to the atmosphere is provided, and in a cover main body in which the housing is incorporated, a nozzle insertion port and a second opening which is opposite the first opening and open to the atmosphere is provided. Moreover, in the recess wall of a drainage port formation member fitted to the first opening, a recess which is recessed on the side of the first opening is formed so as to be continuous with the second opening, and a drainage port is provided. A drainage valve is held in the recess with respect to the recess wall so as to open and close the drainage port by turning of the valve main body about the turning shaft serving as a base point.

VENTING DEVICE FOR VENTING A MOTOR VEHICLE TANK

A ventilation device for ventilating a motor vehicle tank. The ventilation device includes a filler pipe, a ventilation line, a degassing line, and a guide arc member. The ventilation line is to be fluidically connected at a first ventilation line end to the motor vehicle tank, and at a second ventilation line end to the filler pipe via a ventilation inlet. The degassing line is to be fluidically connected at a first degassing line end to the filler pipe via a degassing outlet. The guide arc member is arranged in the filler pipe to define a guide path for incoming vapor passing through the ventilation inlet into the filler pipe. The guide arc member is to facilitate flow of the incoming vapor between an inner wall of the filler pipe and the guide arc member along a periphery of the filler pipe along a periphery of the filler pipe such that a gaseous component of the incoming vapor escapes through the degassing outlet and a liquid component of the incoming vapor flows off through the filler pipe.

VENTING DEVICE FOR VENTING A MOTOR VEHICLE TANK

A venting device for venting a motor vehicle tank that includes a filling pipe, a venting line, a degassing line, and a connection nipple. The venting line is for fluidic connection at a first venting line end to the motor vehicle tank, and at a second venting line end opposite the first venting line end to the filling pipe via a venting inlet. The degassing line is for fluidic connection at a first degassing line end to the filling pipe via a degassing outlet, and at a second degassing line end opposite the first degassing line end to a liquid separator. The connection nipple is arranged on the filling pipe upon which the venting inlet and the degassing outlet are constructed.

Filling device

A filling device includes a filling pipe to extend into a liquid container for fluidic connection to the liquid container, a filling head operatively connected to the filling pipe, a venting pipe to vent the liquid container, the venting pipe having an open venting pipe section at an end thereof, and an indicator member configured to visually indicate a filling condition of the liquid container. During a filling sequence of the liquid container in a condition in which the liquid container is not full of liquid, the indicator member is to be impinged upon by outflowing air in the venting pipe at a force such that the indicator member assumes a first recognizable condition. During a filling sequence of the liquid container in a condition in which the liquid container is full of liquid, the indicator member is not impinged on by outflowing air in the venting pipe at a force such that the indicator member assumes a second recognizable condition.
