FUEL TANK HAVING INLET CHECK VALVE
The present disclosure relates to a fuel tank comprising a filling tube opening via an inlet check valve into the fuel tank and comprising a venting device for discharging fuel vapors from the fuel tank. According to the present disclosure, the venting device has at least one venting line, which extends into the interior of the fuel tank and opens with an open end into a gas volume in the region of an upper wall part of the fuel tank, wherein the at least one venting line is guided such that it forms a siphon in the region of a lower wall part, and the inlet check valve has a bypass connection, to which the at least one venting line is connected.
Venting valve
A ventilation valve and a tank device that includes such a ventilation valve, which fulfills both a roll-over function and an overflow protection function.
Tank filler neck
A tank filler neck including a filling line having an insertion end further away from the tank, designed to temporarily insert a breather pipe into the end region of the filling line further away from the tank, a passage line end closer to the tank, designed for passing through liquid in the direction away from the insertion end, a ventilation volume designed for through-flowing gas while passing liquid through the end of the passage line, a ventilation line which ends at a distance from the filling line and which can be blocked or released by a ventilation valve for through-flowing gas, a detecting device designed to detect a passage-ready state and/or a passage state of the filling line, and an operating device designed to adjust, as a function of the detection result of the detecting device, the ventilation valve between the blocking position and the release position.
Fuel tank system
An inter-flap space 36 between an outside flap 24 and an inside flap 44 of a filler pipe 16 is placed in communication with the inside of a fuel tank 14 using a communication pipe 62, and an open and close valve 64 is provided to the communication pipe 62. Further provided are a pressure reduction pump 82 that depressurizes the fuel tank 14, an internal tank pressure sensor 68 that detects an internal tank pressure of the fuel tank 14, and a controller that controls opening and closing of the open and close valve 64 and driving of the pressure reduction pump 82, and that determines an outside flap seal state of the outside flap 24 based on the internal tank pressure.
Connector with sensor
A connector includes a resin-made connector body and a pressure sensor. The connector body includes a first main tubular part that is connected to a first pipe, a second main tubular part that is connected to a second pipe, and a sensor mounting part. The first main tubular part and the second main tubular part connect with each other to form an angle. The sensor mounting part includes: a tubular intake part that is formed in line with a line extending from one of the first main tubular part and the second main tubular part and has a bottom face; and a sensor mounting seat that is capable of being mounted with the pressure sensor and communicates with a peripheral-surface opening of the tubular intake part.
CLOSED TANK SYSTEM
A closed tank system includes: a fuel tank; a canister adapted to adsorb evaporative fuel generated in the fuel tank; a fill-up limiting valve provided inside the fuel tank so as to be communicated with the evaporative fuel discharge passage and adapted to operate to close the evaporative fuel discharge passage when a fuel level reaches a predetermined full tank liquid level; a shut-off valve adapted to operate to open or close the evaporative fuel discharge passage; a fuel remaining amount sensor adapted to detect a remaining amount of fuel; and a hardware processor that causes a control section to carry out control for allowing the shut-off valve to be opened or closed. The hardware processor causes the control section to inhibit the control for allowing the shut-off valve to be opened when an engine is in operation and the detected remaining amount of fuel exceeds a predetermined threshold.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
The fuel supply device comprises a filler neck provided to include a fuel supply port which a fueling gun is inserted in and configured to form part of a fuel passage from the fuel supply port to a fuel tank, a fuel vapor pipe connected with the fuel tank and with a fuel vapor port and configured to supply a fuel vapor in the fuel tank to an internal passage of the filler neck main body, and a buffer member at least partly placed between a filler neck main body and the fuel vapor port in a neighborhood of a branch portion where the fuel vapor port is branched off from the filler neck main body. The filler neck comprises the filler neck main body including the internal passage and the fuel vapor port branched off from the filler neck main body.
Leak detection system
The invention relates to a leak detection system on board of a vehicle comprising a fuel tank (301, 401), a filler pipe (302, 402), a venting line (303, 403) for recirculating fuel vapors from the tank to the filler pipe, said system having a combination pressure and temperature sensor mounted in the vapor dome of the fuel tank, and a pressure sensor located in the recirculation line above the highest possible liquid level that could be present in the recirculation line and to methods to detect said leak.
Fuel supply system
A fuel supply system includes a filler neck that is provided in a filler neck body formed in a tubular shape and has a pipe connection structure. A first member is formed separately from the filler neck. A second member is formed separately from the filler neck to be different from the first member. The first member and the second member are engaged with each other. At least one of the first member and the second member includes a protective portion that is configured to cover at least part of the pipe connection structure in a state that the first member and the second member are engaged with each other and positions of the first member and the second member are fixed relative to the filler neck. This configuration suppresses damage of the pipe connection structure that is connected with the filler neck in the fuel supply system.
FILLER NECK
A filler head for a fuel filler pipe that includes a housing and a flow guide configured in one piece from metal.
