Operating fluid reservoir having an integrated venting and/or air admission valve
The present invention discloses an improved operating fluid reservoir (1) having a venting and/or air admission valve. The operating fluid reservoir (1) is characterized in that a valve housing (10) is formed integrally with an operating fluid reservoir wall (2). A vent opening (3), via which a valve housing interior (11) is in fluid communication with a vent line (5), is embodied as a through opening (3) through the operating fluid reservoir wall (2). A valve body (20), which is arranged in the valve housing interior (11), can be introduced into the valve housing interior (11) via an introduction opening (16) in the valve housing (10). The valve body (20) comprises a holding device (23; 14, 24), by means of which the valve body (20) is held movably in the valve housing (10).
VALVE DEVICE
A valve device includes a float body and a valve body provided in an upper portion of the float body to obliquely move. The valve body includes a seal portion that closes a valve opening formed in a case when the float rises, an engaging portion serving as a linkage portion with respect to the float body, and an abutting portion that abuts on a vicinity of the valve opening when inclining obliquely. An area of the abutting portion in the horizontal direction is made smaller than that of the seal portion such that the abutting portion laterally protrudes from the seal portion.
Apparatus and methods to couple fuel components to a fuel tank
Fuel tank apparatus and related methods are described. An example method includes placing a first end of a flexible coupling through an access opening formed on a wall of a fuel tank and into a first end of a guide positioned in a cavity of the fuel tank; feeding the first end of the flexible coupling in a first direction through the guide and away from the access opening; redirecting the first end of the flexible coupling towards the access opening by continuing to feed the flexible coupling the first direction; coupling a first fuel component to the first end of the flexible coupling when the first end of the flexible coupling is accessible via the access opening; and directing the flexible coupling in a second direction opposite the first direction via the guide to couple the first fuel component in the cavity of the fuel tank at a position away from the access opening.
