Fuel cap opening/closing structure of vehicle
A vehicular fuel cap opening/closing structure may include a stopper hinged to a fuel inlet to rotate when a fuel cable is pulled via operation of a switch provided inside a vehicle, a fuel cap external device configured to be held in place by the stopper, the fuel cap external device being discharged in a longitudinal direction of the fuel inlet via rotation of the stopper, a fuel cap internal device fitted inside the fuel cap external device to close the fuel inlet, the fuel cap internal device being engaged with the discharged fuel cap external device, and a fuel cap handle coupled to the fuel cap internal device and held in place by the fuel cap external device to rotate the fuel cap external device and cause the fuel cap internal device to be rotated, guiding opening of the fuel inlet.
Battery powered keyless locking cap
Battery powered, keyless locking container cap configured securing a bayonet filler neck or threaded filler neck remaining unlocked after attachment. A timer circuit powers off placing the invention into an energy saving, mode; a compression spring forces a coupler into engagement. While engaged, the cap can be removed and replaced. Cap rotation by an unauthorized user, locks the cap. A backup, rotary pin coded lock is in the interior inaccessible. Cap rotation enters a pin code to unlock or lock the cap. The invention supplied is with a transmitter configured as a key fob or a cigarette lighter power plug. the transmitter signals the cap not to lock thereby providing removal. rotational Comprising rotary frictional slippage prevents unauthorized removal by limiting both speed and the rotational force to a level insufficient to override the attachment torque.
Closure Cap for an Operating Medium Tank
A closure cap for an operating medium tank is provided with a closure device projecting into a fill socket of the operating medium tank. The closure device has a first cap element, a second cap element, and a sealing ring arranged between the first and second cap elements. A lifting assembly axially moves by an axial travel the first and second cap elements relative to each other for opening and closing the fill socket. The lifting assembly has a pressure member acting axially on one of the first and second cap elements. A grip member is provided that is rotatable about a hub and actuates the lifting assembly. A cover disk covering at least partially the fill socket relative to an exterior is connected fixedly to the pressure member of the lifting assembly. The cover disk rotates, together with the pressure member, about the hub.
Vehicle lid device
A vehicle lid device includes a housing provided with a fuel filling aperture portion; a lid opening and closing an opening of the housing; and a link member connecting the lid to the housing to be openable and closable. The vehicle lid device includes a base member capable of axially supporting the link member to be turnable, and a depressed portion provided in the housing and capable of receiving the base member.
LOCKABLE CAP ASSEMBLY FOR A FUEL FILLER PIPE
A lockable assembly for a fuel filler pipe including a cap supported upon a unit mounted to the fuel filler pipe. The clap has at least one locking tab which is actuated by a key insertable portion incorporated into the cap and in order to lock or unlock the cap for removal from the outside part of the unit attached to the filler pipe. The key insertable portion can further include a rotatable component. The at least one locking tab further includes a pair of locking tabs which are radially displaced via the rotatable component so that the tabs displace in opposite directions. Other features include a sliding limiter component associated with each of the oppositely directed locking tabs.
STACKABLE CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A stackable container assembly has a base container and an accessory container selectively connected to a top surface of the base container such that the accessory container is stacked on top of the base container. The base container has a container body has a bottom surface adapted for connecting the base container to a vehicle; a tongue connected to the container body and being adapted for inserting into a first vehicle anchor fixture connected to the vehicle; and an anchor connected to the container body and being adapted for inserting into a second vehicle anchor fixture. The anchor has an anchor base and an anchor lock extending from the anchor base. The anchor lock is rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the anchor base between a locked position and an unlocked position. A container and a vehicle provided with the stackable container assembly are also disclosed.
Fuel cap and spring assembly
The present invention provides a fuel cap including a body and a spring positioned on the body that inhibits unintended removal of the cap from a fuel filler neck, the spring secured on the cap by a cam pin that is used to secure the cap on the cam ramp of a fuel filler neck.
Stackable container assembly
A stackable container assembly is disclosed, the assembly having a base container having a container body having a top surface and a bottom surface, an attachment base adapted for connecting the base container to a vehicle, and a fixture assembly attached to the top surface; and an accessory container having an accessory body having an accessory bottom surface, and an accessory base on the accessory bottom surface selectively connecting the accessory container to the fixture assembly of the base container such that the accessory container is stacked on top of the base container. A container and a vehicle provided with the stackable container assembly are also disclosed.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN EXTERNAL FLAP OF A VEHICLE
Methods and systems are provided for a refueling cap locking mechanism. In one example, a method includes unlocking the refueling cap in response to an engine start. The unlocking occurs without a vehicle operator input outside of a request to start the engine.
SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A saddle-type vehicle includes a fuel tank, a tank cap that covers the refueling port provided in the fuel tank in an openable/closable manner, and an operation cable that performs an unlocking operation of the tank cap, wherein the fuel tank includes a first opening and a second opening that extend through the fuel tank, the path member is provided that passes through an interior of the fuel tank and connects the first opening and the second opening, the operation cable is arranged through an interior of the path member, and the operation cable protruding outward from the first opening is connected to the unlocking mechanism for unlocking the tank cap.
