The present invention provides a fuel cap including a body and a spring positioned on the body that inhibits unintended removal of the cap from a fuel filler neck, the spring secured on the cap by a cam pin that is used to secure the cap on the cam ramp of a fuel filler neck.

A filler neck housing or charging housing for insertion into a body opening in a motor vehicle, comprising a housing section with a first sealing section and a second sealing section, the first sealing section being provided on an outer edge, which can be inserted into the body opening, of the housing section and being designed to bear in a sealing manner on the body opening, and the second sealing section being provided on a passage opening in the housing section, into which a tank filler pipe or a plug-in charging connector can be inserted, the second sealing section being designed to bear in a sealing manner against the tank filler pipe or the plug-in charging connector.

The present invention relates to an anti-theft device for fuel tanks, wherein the anti-theft device comprises a pipe to be secured to a fuel inlet, wherein the pipe comprises attachment means at its upper portion, furthermore the pipe comprises at least one opening disposed in the side wall of the pipe, wherein the pipe is closed at a lower portion and that said pipe accommodates a substance, wherein said substance is adapted, in the event of a fuel theft attempt, to be carried with the fuel into the pump used during the theft attempt and thereby prevent continued pumping with it, and that the substance is further adapted to be incapable of leaking into the actual fuel tank.

A fuel tank cap includes a seal cap body and a detaching-proof unit. The cap body has a handheld wall and a surrounding wall that extends from the handheld wall and that is formed with an engaging groove. The detaching-proof unit includes a ring sleeve member and a connection member. The ring sleeve member has an outer ring wall that surrounds the surrounding wall, and a resilient wall that extends the outer ring wall and that is engaged resiliently with the engaging groove. The connection member is connected to the ring sleeve member to be connected to a cap installation portion of a vehicle body.

The fuel tank of a vehicle has a wail (26) and filling pipe (10) for adding fuel. The filling pipe has a mouth, through which there opens a connection into the fuel tank, The fuel tank comprises a protective cover (16) installed movably to the wall, the protective cover being movable to a first position in front of the mouth of the filling pipe and to a second position away from the front of the mouth of the filling pipe. The mouth of the filling pipe is usually covered by a releasable cap (14). When the protective cover is in front of the mouth, the cap in the mouth cannot be accessed and it cannot be removed from the end of the filling pipe. Respectively, when the protective cover is in the second position, it does not prevent or hinder the handling of the cap at the end of the filling pipe. The fuel tank can further comprise a locking element for locking the protective cover in place to the said first position. Preferably the locking element can be opened from the cabin of the vehicle.

A fuel tank apparatus is adapted to conduct fuel toward the fuel tank of a vehicle. The fuel tank fill apparatus includes a fuel-tank filler neck for conducting fuel to the fuel tank and a capless closure assembly the couples to the fuel-tank filler neck in such a way so as to be removed for serviceability.

This invention relates to a urea tank having a filler neck, an inlet adapter and a filler cap. While a filler cap is mounted on a filler neck, a locking piece is rotated 135 degrees, and then the filler cap is pulled upward.; as a result, the filler cap is removed from the filler neck along with an inlet adapter. While the filler cap is mounted on the filler neck, the locking piece is rotated 90 degrees, and then the filler cap is pulled upward; as a result, only the filler cap is removed from the filler neck.

A fuel tank fill apparatus according to the present disclosure is adapted to conduct fuel toward the fuel tank of a vehicle. The fuel tank fill apparatus includes a fuel-tank filler neck for conducting fuel to the fuel tank and a capless closure assembly that couples to the fuel-tank filler neck in such a way so as to be removed for serviceability.
