20190299774 · 2019-10-03 ·

A capless closure device including a body, an end plate provided with a circular opening adapted for receiving a fuel nozzle, and a flap door adapted to close the circular opening, where the capless closure device includes a latch edge arranged at the lower edge of the circular opening and a spaced apart sealing edge, and where an inlet drain opening is arranged between the latch edge and the sealing edge. The advantage of the invention is that a capless closure device with an integrated drain passage is provided in a cost-effective way.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INFERRING FUEL VAPOR CANISTER LOADING RATE

Methods and systems are provided for indicating a restriction in a fuel system vapor recovery line. Responsive to such an indication, methods and systems are provided for taking mitigating actions such that an entirety of a vehicle fuel system and evaporative emissions system, including a fuel filler system, may be diagnosed as to a presence or absence of undesired evaporative emissions, even with the restriction in the vapor recovery line present. In this way, undesired evaporative emissions may be reduced or avoided, completion rates for such tests may be increased, and customer satisfaction may be improved.

EARTH STRUCTURE FOR FILLER PIPE

An earth structure for a filler pipe includes a filler pipe; a tubular cover member in which an upstream end of the filler pipe is inserted and which defines a fueling port; an annular seal part interposed between the filler pipe and the cover member; and an earth member which is mounted an outer surface of the filler pipe and extends along a longitudinal direction of the filler pipe. The cover member is made of a conductive material, and the earth member is in contact with the cover member on a downstream side of the seal part. Since it is not necessary to dispose the earth member so as to pass through the seal part, the sealability between the filler pipe and the cover member improves.

Refueling or Charging Port Door Lock Assembly

A door lock assembly includes a housing having a hollow structure, a lifting shaft provided inside the housing, a driving spring, and a buffering device. A top end of the lifting shaft is configured for assembling a refueling or charging port flap, the lifting shaft being slidably engaged with the housing along a first portion and threadably engaged with the housing along a second portion. One end of the driving spring is fixed and the other end abuts against the lifting shaft for driving the lifting shaft to move relative to the housing. The buffering device provides a buffering function in the when the lifting shaft is threadably engaged with the housing.

Filling system on a motor vehicle, having at least two storage tanks for liquid or gaseous operating materials
