Capless closure for fuel filler pipe
A capless filler pipe closure is provided for a tank filler pipe. The capless closure permits a fuel pump nozzle to be inserted into the tank filler pipe without first removing a fuel cap from the outer end of the tank filler pipe.
Capless closure assembly for fuel-tank filler pipe
A capless filler pipe closure is provided for a tank filler pipe. The capless closure permits a fuel pump nozzle to be inserted into the tank filler pipe without first removing a fuel cap from the outer end of the tank filler pipe.
Fuel filler structure for fuel tank
To obtain a fuel filler structure for a fuel tank wherein when causing an opening and closing valve to close, it can be ensured that the opening and closing valve does not rapidly rotate to a closed position in which it closes a fuel fill inlet, and when causing the opening and closing valve to open, the opening and closing valve can be opened with a small force. A fuel filler structure is equipped with a damper on the near side of a flapper valve in the insertion direction of a fuel nozzle. When the flapper valve rotates to an open position, the damper does not act on the flapper valve, and when the flapper valve rotates to a closed position, the damper acts on the flapper valve.
Capless filler neck structure
A capless filler neck structure including a filler tube configured to be fixed into a vehicle and define a transfer passage for fuel to be transferred to a fuel tank of the vehicle, a first retainer fitted into the filler tube, a first flapper positioned adjacent to the first retainer to be sealed from the outside, a second retainer positioned adjacent to the first retainer and fitted into the filler tube, a cover fitted to the second retainer to define an opening configured to receive a fuel gun, a second flapper positioned adjacent to the second retainer to be sealed from the outside, and an anti-error-injection member fitted to the second retainer and configured to be unlatched when the fuel gun having a predetermined diameter or more is inserted.
AUTOMOTIVE FUEL SYSTEM HAVING ELASTOMERIC SEALS INCORPORATING GRAPHENE
A capless fuel unit having an elongated tubular and cylindrical housing open at each end, the housing defining a first and a second longitudinally spaced fluid ports. A first flapper valve is associated with the first fluid port and a second flapper valve with the second fluid port, the flapper valves being movable between open and closed positions and resiliently urged toward their respective closed positions. A pressure relief valve is at least partially contained within an interior of the flapper valves. An arrangement of elastomeric seals incorporating a Graphene-derivative are positioned within the housing in proximity with the flapper valves for resisting hydrocarbon emission from fuel vapors escaping from the unit to the atmosphere.
AUTOMOTIVE FUEL CAPLESS PLASTIC MOLDED COMPONENT INCORPORATING GRAPHENE
A capless fuel unit having an elongated housing open at each end and defining a first and a second longitudinally spaced fluid ports. First and second door assemblies each include a flapper valve associated with a first fluid port and a second flapper valve with a second fluid port, the flapper valves being movable between open and closed positions and resiliently urged toward their respective closed positions. A pressure relief valve is at least partially contained within an interior of the flapper valves. The various plastic components of the capless unit incorporate Graphene or a Graphene-derivative for resisting hydrocarbon emission from fuel vapors escaping from the unit to the atmosphere.
CAPLESS CLOSURE ASSEMBLY FOR FUEL-TANK FILLER PIPE
A capless closure is provided for a tank filler pipe. The capless closure permits a fuel pump nozzle to be inserted into the tank filler pipe without first removing a fuel cap from the outer end of the tank filler pipe.
Vehicle lid device
The lid device for vehicle includes a link member supporting a lid to open and close; and a basing member moving the lid from a fully-closed position to a first reference position which is a partly-open position, and moving the lid from a second reference position which is further in the open direction than the first reference position to a fully-open position. The link member includes first and second link members pivotally supported at one end on the rear side of the lid, and pivotally supported at the other end within the housing. The biasing member has a pop-up contact part for switching the lid from the closed position to the first reference position, and a deadlock contact part inner surface for switching between biasing toward the first reference position and biasing toward the fully opening position with the second reference position in between.
Filler neck for filling an operating substance or additive into a vehicle tank by means of a fuel pump nozzle
A filler neck (1) for filling an operating substance, such as fuel or AdBlue® or urea, or an additive, such as water, into a vehicle tank by way of a fuel pump nozzle. The filler neck (1) has a filler neck body (2), which can be accommodated in a filler pipe leading to the vehicle tank. The filler neck (1) furthermore has a fuel pump nozzle guide with an insertion section (4) for guiding a fuel pump nozzle, which is accommodated or is to be accommodated in the filler neck body (2), in the direction of the vehicle tank. The filler neck body (2) and the insertion section (4) of the fuel pump nozzle guide are formed together as an integral casting, in particular plastics injection moulding.
Fuel supply port device
A fuel supply port device includes a tubular main member portion where a fuel supply nozzle is inserted from a tube-upper-end side; a cover member covering a side portion on the tube-upper-end side of the tubular main member portion from an outside; an earth member electrically connecting a fuel-supply-nozzle side to be inserted and a body-panel side; and a seal member sealing a pass-through portion of the earth member formed in the cover member. The seal member includes an insert-through portion allowing a one-end-portion side of the earth member to be inserted to pass through from the outside of the tubular main member portion.
