The assembly also includes a tube mounting bracket for mounting the fuel fill tube in a stationary position in a vehicle to conduct fuel to the fuel tank.
Fueling device
A fueling device mounted on a vehicle, includes: a flow path forming member forming a flow path extending from a fueling port to a fuel tank of the vehicle; and a stay joined to a vehicle body, wherein the stay supports an outer end portion of the flow path forming member.
Sleeve member for filler pipe and fuel supply portion forming device
In a sleeve member for a filler pipe, the filler pipe passes through the sleeve member internally and is positioned with an upper end thereof on a fuel supply portion formed on an outside panel forming an outside of an automobile through a through hole formed in an inside panel forming a wheel house of the automobile. The sleeve member includes an attachment portion relative to the outside panel; a main seal portion elastically deformed and pressed against an inner face facing a space formed between the inside panel and the outside panel in such a way so as to surround the through hole by an insertion into the through hole; and an engagement portion which becomes engageable with a hole edge portion of the through hole positioned on an outer-face side of the inside panel by the insertion into the through hole.
MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE UNIT
A mounting structure for a fuel shutoff valve unit (U) includes a valve device (50) which is provided in a fuel tank (31) of a saddle type vehicle (1) and in which a breather passage (Y) which discharges volatile fuel to the outside is formed and a valve (51) which prevents leakage of liquid fuel is provided, wherein, in the saddle type vehicle including a filler tube (F) which is provided inside the fuel tank (31) and supplies fuel supplied from the outside to the inside of the fuel tank (31), a support member (B) which is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the filler tube (F) and supports the fuel shutoff valve unit (U) inside the fuel tank (31) is provided.
Capless filler neck structure
A capless filler neck structure including a filler tube configured to be fixed into a vehicle and define a transfer passage for fuel to be transferred to a fuel tank of the vehicle, a first retainer fitted into the filler tube, a first flapper positioned adjacent to the first retainer to be sealed from the outside, a second retainer positioned adjacent to the first retainer and fitted into the filler tube, a cover fitted to the second retainer to define an opening configured to receive a fuel gun, a second flapper positioned adjacent to the second retainer to be sealed from the outside, and an anti-error-injection member fitted to the second retainer and configured to be unlatched when the fuel gun having a predetermined diameter or more is inserted.
NEW-GENERATION FUEL TANK CONNECTION
The invention is related to a new-generation fuel tank connection in all kinds of military vehicles, which enables a space reserved for the fuel tank to be used more efficiently, by reducing mounting space required according to the conventional methods. The invention is especially related to a new-generation fuel tank connection which comprises a sealed gasket (60) which has connection holes (62) to attach connection pieces (30) on the tank, which is produced from the materials suitable with fuel, which serves as leaking and vibration damping between fuel tank and sealing element (20), which has a conicity (64) in its inner surface (63) for ease of mounting of the sealing element (20), and a sealing element (20) which connects to the support (120) located on the vehicle roof (130) through connection holes (23) with connection pieces (30) and of which part entering into (63) the sealed gasket (60) tightened with clamp (50) has a conical (22) structure.
Vehicle body side structure
A vehicle body side structure includes a lid openably and closably attached to a side surface of a vehicle body rear part, and a quarter window provided at a position rearward of a rear door opening. A gap extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle body is formed by an upper side of the lid extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body and a lower side of the quarter window extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body.
LINE SYSTEM, FILLING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A LINE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LINE SYSTEM
A line system for connecting a liquid intake assembly to a liquid tank including a first fluid line for conducting a first fluid, a second fluid line for conducting a second fluid, the first and the second fluid lines being connected in an area between their respective first and second end by a connecting structure extending between the first and the second fluid lines, the connecting structure being integrally connected both with the first as well as with the second fluid line, at least one section of the first fluid line and one section of the second fluid line being arranged fluidically in parallel to each other, and the connecting structure having a fastening formation embodied in one piece with the first fluid line and a counterpart fastening formation embodied physically separately from the fastening formation and in one piece with the second fluid line.
DEFORMABLE BRACKET FOR TRANSLATING VEHICLE FUEL BOX
A system for reducing risk of fuel leakage of a vehicle during a collision includes a vehicle main body configured to support and at least partially enclose a passenger. The system further includes a fuel inlet box configured to house a fuel inlet. The system further includes a rear bracket coupled to the vehicle main body at a location aft of the fuel inlet box. The system further includes a center shaft coupled to the rear bracket and extending forward from the rear bracket. The system further includes a forward bracket coupled to the vehicle main body at a location forward relative to the rear bracket and coupled to the center shaft, the forward bracket configured to deform in response to a rear collision of the vehicle to actuate the fuel inlet box in order to reduce the likelihood of a fuel leak from the fuel inlet.
