SADDLE RIDING VEHICLE
A saddle riding vehicle includes: a fuel tank supported by a body frame; a filler opening provided in an upper surface of the fuel tank; a tank cover covering the upper surface of the fuel tank; and a fuel sump collecting fuel overflowing from the filler opening. The saddle riding vehicle includes a shroud covering a side surface of the fuel tank. The fuel sump is placed around the filler opening and under the tank cover. The fuel sump includes a drain pipe discharging fuel downward. The drain pipe extends between the tank cover and the shroud.
FUEL FILLER DEVICE
A fuel filler device for filling fuel into a vehicle tank, includes a filler pipe for receiving a fuel filler nozzle, which filler pipe can be connected with the vehicle tank. At least one pivotably mounted closing flap is arranged in the filler pipe. A spring element is provided, which biases the at least one closing flap into a closing position closing a passage through the filler pipe. The at least one closing flap is pivotable from the closing position into an opening position opening a passage through the filler pipe as a result of the fuel filler nozzle inserted into the filler pipe. At least one valve element forms at least one bypass to the at least one closing flap, and from a limit pressure difference, allows a passage of gas out of the filler pipe and/or into the filler pipe.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
In a fuel port forming portion (21) that forms a fuel port (104), a portion of a peripheral wall (104s, 104t) located on a perpendicular lower side when a fuel supply device (FS) is in a mounting posture of being mounted to a vehicle (FR) formed as a convex drain groove (110) from a corner portion (104c) at which an insertion-side open/close member (11) for opening/closing the fuel port makes contact with an open base portion (104sf) of the fuel port to an open end side of the fuel port. The drain groove (110) is inclined in a horizontal direction such that the open end side of the fuel port (104) is located closer to the perpendicular lower side than a corner portion side when the fuel supply device (FS) is in the mounting posture, to thereby improve draining function of the drain groove (110) provided to the fuel port (104).
Inlet pipe peripheral structure
A plate-shaped reinforcing member is joined to an outer peripheral portion of a first through-hole of a wheel house outer panel. This reinforcing member has a second through-hole formed in a position overlapping with the first through-hole of the wheel house outer panel. Also, a bent end portion that is formed bent is provided along an entire periphery of a peripheral edge portion of the second through-hole of the reinforcing member.
INTEGRATED FUEL-MIXING PREVENTION DEVICE FOR DIESEL VEHICLE
Disclosed herein is an integrated fuel mixing prevention device for a diesel vehicle, in which a diesel filler neck and a urea filler neck are integrated with each other to prevent fuel from mixing, allowing only a diesel fuel filling gun to be inserted into a fuel inlet when a diesel fuel filling mode is selected and allowing only a urea filling gun to be inserted into the fuel inlet when a urea filling mode is selected, which may prevent a fuel mixing an accident caused by incorrect replenishment.
EXPANDED FUEL FILL PIPE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A fuel filler neck assembly and a method of making a funnel for a fuel fill tube assembly includes forming a tube blank with a first punch tool, forming the tube blank with a second punch tool, forming the tube blank with a third punch tool, forming the tube blank with a fourth punch tool, and forming the tube blank with a trim ring and trim insert.
Selective fuel regulator for fuel tank that stores different kinds of fuel
A selective fuel regulator includes: a fuel tank having therein a cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit and a general-purpose fuel storage unit, a cold-area-purpose fuel pipe connected to the cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit, and a general-purpose fuel pipe connected to the general-purpose fuel storage unit; a body installed in the fuel tank, the body having therein a receiving space; a plurality of pipes, one end of each pipe located in the fuel tank, and the other end of each pipe located in the receiving space in order to supply fuel from the fuel tank to an engine or to collect residual fuel from the engine; a fuel port, one end of the fuel port located in the receiving space, and the other end of the fuel port located outside the body in order to connect the plurality of pipes to a fuel line installed outside the fuel tank; and a connector located between the one end of the fuel port and the respective other ends of the plurality of pipes so as to slide between the cold-area-purpose fuel pipe and the general-purpose fuel pipe for selectively supplying fuel from the cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit or from the general-purpose fuel storage unit to the engine.
Fuel tank fill assembly
A fuel tank fill assembly includes a fuel fill tube adapted to be coupled to a fuel tank and configured to receive fuel discharged by a pump nozzle. The assembly also includes a tube mounting bracket for mounting the fuel fill tube in a stationary position in a vehicle to conduct fuel to the fuel tank.
