Control device for vehicle

A vehicle includes a fuel tank, a canister, a closing valve and a filler door. A control device for the vehicle includes a valve controller that performs depressurization control for decreasing a tank pressure by opening the closing valve, a door controller that issues a normal driving command to a drive unit that opens the filler door when the tank pressure becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined pressure by the depressurization control, a detector that detects an open/close state of the filler door and a determiner that determines whether or not detection by the detector can be performed. If the detection by the detector cannot be performed, the door controller issues, when the tank pressure is equal to or lower than the predetermined pressure, a forced driving command for causing the drive unit to generate output power higher than normal power preferentially to the normal driving command.

Wireless Thief-Hatch Monitoring System

A thief hatch state monitoring system includes a thief hatch sensor that detects a change in angular position of a thief hatch and generates sensor data at an output in response to the detected change. A processor having an electrical input is electrically connected to the output of the thief hatch state sensor. The processor determines when the angular position of the thief hatch changes by more than a predetermined amount from the sensor data and then generates a transmit signal indicating a state of the thief hatch. A network interface is electrically connected to an output of the processor. The network interface generates a signal that indicates the state of the thief hatch. A communication gateway includes a receiver that receives the signal indicating the state of the thief hatch. The communication gateway is electrically connected to a network that provides an end-user remote access to the state of the thief hatch.

VEHICLE

A vehicle performs notification about an open/closed state of a lid member covering an interface for supplying driving energy. The vehicle includes a notification portion that performs notification when the lid member is in the open state and a connection detecting portion that detects a connection state of a driving energy supply device to the interface. In the vehicle, the notification portion suspends notification when the driving energy supply device is connected to the interface during the open state of the lid member.

A vehicle which includes a fuel cell, a receptacle, a lid, and a fixing pin, and which stores a detection of the open state during a period from a time point of a latest end of operation of the vehicle to a time point of input acceptance of a start-up instruction. If a detection of an open state has been stored in a memory at a time point of input acceptance of a start-up instruction, then the vehicle executes a retry operation of temporarily moving the fixing pin of the fixed position to the released position and thereafter moving the fixing pin again to the fixed position during an operating period of the vehicle from the time point of input acceptance of the start-up instruction.

A system for managing refueling and charging of a plug-in hybrid vehicle is provided to prevent charging from being performed simultaneously with refueling to prevent accidents attributable to the occurrence of gas fumes and static electricity. The system includes a plurality of input units configured to receive instructions for refueling and charging a battery. A fueling/charging controller is configured to determine whether a process for refueling and a process for charging the battery are progressing and to start a process that corresponds to the instruction input from any one of the plurality of input units when neither the process for refueling nor the process for charging the battery is progressing.
