Vehicle energy storage compartment for improved crashworthiness
A compartment for storing an energy source in a vehicle having a protective outer structure and an inner structure. The protective outer structure is maintained in position relative to the vehicle during normal operation of the vehicle. The inner structure, which holds the energy source, is positioned in the outer structure. The inner structure is maintained in position relative to the outer structure and relative to the vehicle during normal operation of the vehicle. During an impact to the vehicle, the inner structure is configured to move independent of the outer structure.
Structure for mounting fuel tank on vehicle body and device for preventing deformation of fuel tank
To provide a structure for mounting a fuel tank on a vehicle body that can prevent harmful deformation of the fuel tank that would impair the function of the fuel tank in either case where the pressure in the fuel tank changes to a positive pressure or to a negative pressure, the structure for mounting a fuel tank on a vehicle body includes: a band lower (10L) secured to the vehicle body, extending along at least a lower wall (19L) of the fuel tank (1) and holding the fuel tank (1); a lower wall connecting means (40) that connects at least one part of the lower wall (19L) of the fuel tank (1) to the band lower (10L); a holding member (50) secured to the vehicle body and holding the fuel tank (1); and an upper wall connecting means (40) that connects at least one part of the upper wall (19U) of the fuel tank (1) to the holding member.
Vehicle structure for impact protection and a vehicle comprising a vehicle structure for impact protection
A vehicle structure for impact protection, wherein the vehicle structure is attachable to a main body of a vehicle having a front end and a rear end, wherein the vehicle structure comprises a plurality of sections having a longitudinal extension extending in a longitudinal direction; and a front cover comprising a base. The section of the plurality of sections forms one or more longitudinal compartments. The sections of the plurality of sections are arranged beside one another so as to form a cellular structure. The base of the front cover is configured to be positioned between the front end of the vehicle and the plurality of sections. The front cover covers the plurality of sections and is configured to distribute impact energy to the plurality of sections. A vehicle comprising such a vehicle structure.
REMOVABLE TANK FOR A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH AT LEAST ONE SUCH TANK
A refillable removable tank for an electric motor vehicle, the tank having a body suitable for containing pressurized gas and a first delivery connector suitable for being associated with a second connector for a motor vehicle, the association of the first and second connectors allowing the pressurized gas to enter into and/or exit from the body of the tank. The body of the tank is elongated, has a body axis and is surrounded by a lateral protective shell that is coaxial with the body, which lateral protective shell has a handle for gripping the tank. The shell has at least two engagement elements which are aligned in a direction parallel to the axis of the body and are suitable for associating the shell with a shuttle for positioning the tank in the vehicle.
Truck Comprising a Pivotable Bracket
A truck comprising a chassis and a frame arranged for suspending an elongate pressure vessel in a substantially upright orientation behind a cabin of the truck. The frame comprises a strut and a lower support arm providing a lower neck mount that is mounted to a lower axial end of the elongated pressure vessel. The lower support arm is connected to the strut by a bracket. The bracket is pivotable about a pivot axis that extends from the strut. The lower support arm is provided at a vertical distance below the pivot axis. The pivotable bracket is arranged for allowing a movement of the lower support arm over a guided path transverse to the pivot axis while maintaining the mechanical connection in case of an impact on the truck.
Truck with a Vessel Mount Structure for Suspending a Pressurized Fuel Tank
A truck comprising a vessel mount structure providing at least one neck mount that suspends an elongated pressure vessel to the chassis. A support arm is coupled to the or each neck mount by a deformable coupling arrangement comprising one or more guide arms arranged for guiding a movement of the neck mount along a guided path that is bounded by an end stop provided on the chassis. The end stop comprises a convex contact surface for abutting a cylindrical body of the elongated pressure vessel in case of an impact.
Fixation Device of Hydrogen Storage Module for Vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a mount for a hydrogen storage tank of a vehicle. The mount may include an insulator configured to insulate vibration of the hydrogen storage tank; and a plurality of stoppers. The plurality of stoppers may include a first stopper and a second stopper. The first stopper may include a first attachment surface supporting an upper surface of the insulator. The second stopper may include a second attachment surface supporting a lower surface of the insulator.
