The at least two rigid lining parts may be in form of at least two rigid lining panels which are arranged in plane-parallel fashion, with each rigid lining panel of the at least two rigid lining panels held together in pairs by an internal bearing arrangement that has guide elements arranged in cutouts in each rigid lining panel of the at least two rigid lining panels, and in this respect are mounted displaceably relative to one another along a displacement path in the plane-parallel fashion.
Dynamically bendable automotive interior display systems
Embodiments of a dynamically bendable automotive interior display system are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a display, a dynamically bendable cover substrate assembly disposed over the display, wherein the cover substrate assembly comprises a cover substrate with a bend axis, and a reversible support attached to at least a portion the cover substrate that dynamically bends the cover substrate along the bend axis in a cycle from a first radius of curvature to a second radius of curvature and from the second radius of curvature to the first radius of curvature. In one or more embodiments, the system includes one or more frames that partially house the display and are attached to the cover substrate.

The display device includes: a display module, having a bendable display region and a planar display region; an encapsulation housing, disposed on a non-display side of the display module, wherein a receiving chamber is formed between the encapsulation housing and the non-display side of the display module; and at least one support assembly, disposed in the receiving chamber, wherein the support assembly at least comprises a first retractable linkage and a first drive motor, a first end of the first retractable linkage is connected to the encapsulation housing, and a second end of the first retractable linkage is connected to the non-display side of the display module.

A display device may include a flexible display surface element having a display surface, and an adjustment unit which includes a clamping element in form of a rod and arranged such that the rod moves in a first adjustment direction, a restoring element arranged on the clamping element, and a deflection element in form of a rod. A first side edge of the display surface element is arranged on a length of the clamping element. A second side edge of the display surface element opposite the first side edge is connected to the clamping element via the restoring element. A surface of the display surface element is bent and has a bending region. A length of the deflection element extends in same direction as the clamping element, the deflection element extends within the bending region of the bent display surface element and is arranged such that the deflection element moves in a second adjustment direction to change a distance between the deflection element and the clamping element.

An impact protection device for an occupant of a motor vehicle in a vehicle interior, including a display device with a display, with which an airbag arrangement is associated, and at least one airbag, which is filled with gas and deploys when the impact protection device is activated. The display device includes a printed circuit board, which is arranged in a housing of the display device behind a display panel. The printed circuit board is combined with the display panel and the airbag arrangement arranged behind the printed circuit board in the housing, such that the printed circuit board with the display panel moves away from the housing when the impact protection device is activated.

A method for displaying data in at least two physical planes of a flexible display includes bending the flexible display in such a way that a first part of the display is positioned in a second plane behind a second part of the display, which is positioned in a first plane, as seen by the viewer, so that at least data relating to depth information from data which is displayed on the second part of the display can be displayed on the first part of the display. The display can be provided in a vehicle.

A display article includes a film formed from a stretchable plastic and including a first plurality of micro-light emitting diodes and a second plurality of micro-light emitting diodes disposed adjacent to the first plurality and embedded in the plastic. The article includes a substrate having a first portion and a second portion, and a tear seam disposed between the first and second portions. The film is attached to the substrate such that the tear seam is located between the first and second pluralities. A component includes the display article and an airbag disposed adjacent the substrate and configured for transitioning between a stowed position in which the airbag does not extend through the substrate, and a deployed position in which the airbag extends through the substrate and the film. The first and second portions are separated at the tear seam when the airbag is disposed in the deployed position.

The disclosures relates to a display system for a vehicle that includes a screen with two unique and opposite curved portions, integrally provided with each other, and a projection surface. A surface of the screen is bent in such a manner that at least one curved surface and a second curved surface are formed. The first curved surface on which information can be displayed is arranged aligned in the direction of an observer. The second curved surface is constructed in such a manner that information to be displayed on the second curved surface so that it can be projected in the direction of the at least one projection surface. The projection surface is at a distance from the second curved surface and is arranged so that it can be seen behind the screen (2) by the observer in the direction of the view of the observer.

A display device for a vehicle and an automobile including the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a display unit including an display area on which a plurality of pixels are disposed and a non-display area adjacent to the display area and bent with respect to the display area, wherein a light from the plurality of pixels emits in a front direction, and a heat radiation member adjacent to a rear surface of the display unit and including a first plate facing the rear surface of the display unit, a plurality of first heat radiation pins protruding from the first plate, a first opposite plate parallel to the first plate, and a pair of first side plates at opposite sides of the first plate.
