Vehicle seat and vehicle seat manufacturing method
A vehicle seat includes a base provided on a floor; a seat back pivotably provided on the base; a seat cushion pivotably provided on the seat back; and a reclining drive unit connected to the base and the seat back to make the seat back pivot relative to the base, wherein the reclining drive unit is disposed more rearward than a front end of the seat cushion.
In-seat experience system
An in-seat experience system includes: a seat which includes a seat body, a sensor, and a seat controller allowed to acquire a measurement value from the sensor; an experience instruction device connected to the seat controller, configured to notify an occupant seated on the seat body a motion instruction and to store user identification information; and a server capable of communicating with the experience instruction device. The experience instruction device makes a determination based upon a measurement value of the sensor as to whether or not a first condition is satisfied, and to transmit a result of the determination to the server when at least the first condition is satisfied, and the server is allowed to increase a point score stored for the corresponding user identification information with a condition that the result of the determination that the first condition is satisfied is received from the experience instruction device.
SEAT-EMBEDDED SPEECH SENSORS
Embodiments of the present disclosure a computer-implemented method comprising receiving sensor data from one or more vibration sensors that are embedded within a seat, where the sensor data includes data associated with speech by an occupant of the seat, and at least one of processing, transmitting, or storing the sensor data based on the data associated with the speech.
Electronic system with integrated alerting and cooling mechanisms to save the life of an unattended child in a vehicle
The invention describes a safety system for cooling air around a child in a car when an engine of the car is turned off, and a cooling mechanism of the safety system is automatically activated above a specified temperature when a child is left in the car. The safety system incorporates an audio alert, a visual alert, and a mechanism to send a distress signal or call to emergency services after two minutes after the car engine is turned off and the child is not removed from the car. An open-source Firmware code was used to control thermoelectric cooling via Arduino and an Android software code for emergency calls.
System and method for evaluating pressure sensation of vehicle seat
A system and method for evaluating pressure sensation of a vehicle seat in which body pressure sensors installed in a bolster of a seat cushion measure a body pressure are provided. The pressure sensation due to the bolster and a shield cover of the seat cushion is determined by analyzing the magnitudes of the measured body pressure and the distribution chart thereof. Whether the pressure sensation is caused by the bolster or the shield cover is determined based on the magnitudes of the body pressure and the distribution chart thereof to adjust the seat cushion to a position to release the pressure sensation.
Vehicle passenger sensing and reporting system
An example embodiment of a system and methods for detecting and reporting whether passengers are seated and secured in their seats within a vehicle may include a passenger sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a presence of a passenger in a seat in a vehicle, a restraint sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a status of a passenger safety restraint associated with the seat, a transmitter configured to be in electronic communication with the passenger sensor and the restraint sensor and to wirelessly transmit data indicative of the presence of a passenger in the seat and the status of the restrain, and a reporting module configured to be disposed proximate a driver of the vehicle. The reporting module may be configured to receive the data from the transmitter, and output a respective status for each of a plurality of seats.
SEAT SYSTEM
To provide a seat system that allows the information of the user seated in the seat to be acquired by another user, a seat system includes: a seat main body; at least one sensor provided in the seat main body; a control device for processing a signal from the sensor; and a first user interface communicating with the control device and notifying information based on a signal from the control device. Preferably, the sensor acquires information obtained from a seated person who is seated on the seat main body. Preferably, the seat system includes a camera for capturing an image of the seated person who is seated on the seat main body, and the control device causes the first user interface to display the image captured by the camera.
VEHICLE SEAT SYSTEM
Provided is a vehicle seat system configured to efficiently notify an occupant of information external to a vehicle. The vehicle seat system includes a seat body mounted on a vehicle, the seat body having a seat cushion and a seatback, an external information acquisition device for acquiring external information, which is information external to the vehicle, one or more first vibration devices provided in the seat cushion, one or more second vibration devices provided in the seatback, and a control device configured to control the first and second vibration devices according to the external information, wherein the control device causes one of the first and second vibration devices to vibrate, followed by causing the other of the first and second vibration devices to vibrate.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE CONFIGURATION FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A method for controlling the configuration of a vehicle seat, the method comprising: a) acquiring, at a defined frequency, three pressure values by three sensors arranged on three defined zones of the squab; b) calculating attributes from the acquired pressure values, the attributes being selected from a standard deviation, a sum, and a first ratio; c) determining a seat destination configuration from the calculated attributes, by applying a trained classification model, d) transmitting a motion command signal to mobile motorized mechanisms, the motion command signal being suitable for causing the seat to move towards the determined destination configuration.
Vehicle seat
Provided is a vehicle seat with a structure enabling a rockable moving piece to be disposed in a seat face in a well-fitting manner. A vehicle seat in which a rocking means having a drive mechanism and a moving piece for conveying rocking movement of the drive mechanism to a seated person is disposed in a through hole obtained by hollowing out a portion of a seat face of a seat cushion, wherein: a recess which is recessed in the thickness direction so as to surround the through hole is disposed in the seat face of the seat cushion; and the moving piece is shaped so that the bottom surface side follows the recess.
