A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion frame, a slide mechanism, a drive source, and a transmission mechanism configured to receive a driving force from the drive source and to cause the seat cushion frame to move in a front-rear direction. The slide mechanism includes a guide member extending in the front-rear direction and a slide member movable along the guide member relative to the guide member; the seat cushion frame is fixed to one of the guide member and the slide member, and another of the guide member and the slide member is fixed to a floor of a vehicle; and the drive source is fixed to the floor of the vehicle.

TELESCOPING HEAD RESTRAINT

A headrest assembly includes a headrest bun adjustably supported on a linkage system. An adjustable cover assembly is operable between stowed and deployed positons relative to a position of the headrest bun and is configured to cover the linkage system in use. The adjustable cover assembly includes first and second members, wherein the first member is coupled to the linkage system for movement therewith and the second member is pivotally coupled to the first member. A gap is defined between the first member and the second member, and the gap is maintained by a plurality of spacers disposed on the first member as the cover assembly moves from the stowed position to the deployed position with the headrest bun.

POWER HEAD RESTRAINT FLEXIBLE CLOSEOUT COVER

A flexible cover assembly is disposed on a vehicle seat having an adjustable headrest assembly. The adjustable headrest assembly includes a headrest bun and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the headrest bun between extended and retracted positions. A trim component is disposed a seatback and includes a relief portion configured to receive a portion of the adjustment mechanism as the headrest bun is driven towards the extended position. A flexible cover member is coupled to the trim component at the relief portion. The flexible cover member includes a plate member operable between extend and retracted positions. The portion of the adjustment mechanism received in the relief portion of the trim component is configured to abut an inner surface of the plate member to move the plate member towards the extended position as the headrest bun is driven towards the extended position by the adjustment mechanism.

TELESCOPING POWER HEAD RESTRAINT WITH COVER ASSEMBLY

A headrest assembly includes a linkage system that is at least partially disposed within a housing. The linkage system is operable between fore and aft positions relative to the housing. An adjustable cover assembly includes a first member coupled to the linkage system for movement therewith, and a second member pivotally coupled to the first member. The second member includes an engagement flange configured to contact a portion of the housing to pivot the second member rearwardly as the adjustable cover assembly is driven outward by the linkage system during the positioning of a headrest bun.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A GEAR WORM WHICH IS LOCATED IN PARTICULAR ON AN ARMATURE SHAFT, AND SUCH A GEAR WORM

The invention relates to a method for producing a gear worm (12) which is located in particular on an armature shaft (14) of an electromotive drive unit (10), wherein firstly a worm gear (20) having screw flanks (22) axially opposite one another on a longitudinal axis (18) is formed by means of a rolling tool, and subsequently a groove structure (24) which is concentric about the longitudinal axis (18) is formed on the screw flanks (22) by means of an additional process step. The invention also relates to a gear worm (12) produced according to the method according to the invention, and to a transmission drive unit (10) containing such a gear worm (12).

The present invention prevents the virtual limit setting information from being initialized by expanding the position of the virtual limit to a wider range than the conventional one when the hard stop situation occurs in the before/after section of the virtual limit. For the purpose, the present invention provides a virtual limit correction device of power seat for vehicle comprising a switch for seat operation; and a seat operation control unit for correcting the virtual limit position by moving the end position of the track by using the track end position and the compensation position as compensation regions if a hard stop situation occurs in the front/rear direction based on the initially set virtual limit point during the movement of the power seat according to the switch operation.

Actuator for seat adjustment

An actuator for adjusting a seat includes a motor, a gear-box, and an output member. The gear-box includes a casing accommodating a two stage gear train connecting the motor to the output member. The gear train has a first and second transmission mechanisms. The first transmission mechanism includes a worm on a shaft of the motor, and a worm wheel meshed with the worm. The second transmission mechanism is a movable teeth gear transmission mechanism and has an eccentric wheel that rotates with the worm wheel, an internally toothed ring gear fixed to the casing, a fluted disc with radial grooves formed in its outer periphery, and rollers mounted in the radial grooves. The eccentric wheel drives the rollers to mesh with the ring gear to rotate the fluted disc, to drive the output member.
