METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEAT AND BOLSTER ADJUSTMENT
A method and apparatus of facilitating ingress or egress of a seat having bolsters includes detecting a potential ingress or egress of an occupant to the seat. Upon detection a configuration of the seat is altered from a first position to a second position, wherein a substantially flat surface is formed by a top of a seat portion of the seat and an associated bolster attached to the seat portion.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: a driving seat; a pair of doors; a seat moving mechanism configured to move the driving seat between a driving state and a receiving state, the driving seat in the driving state being positioned at a vehicle width direction center and facing a vehicle front, and the receiving state satisfying at least one condition of: the driving seat being positioned closer to one door of the pair of doors than in the driving state or the driving seat facing further toward the one door than in the driving state; a detection unit configured to detect a portable device in a detection area in a vicinity of the vehicle and outside a passenger compartment; and a seat control unit that controls the seat moving mechanism so as to move the driving seat into the receiving state.
VEHICLE SEAT REPOSITIONING
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for repositioning vehicle seats are provided.
ARTICULATING SEATING SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED LIFTING DEVICE
An integrated lifting device that is assembled with a seating system in a vehicle. The integrated lifting device includes a personal mobile device receiving portion configured to receive a personal mobile device and a user having limited mobility. The seating system can include a user seat for the user to transfer from a wheelchair, etc., to the user seat in the vehicle. A second seating system can be positioned adjacent the first seating system to receive the user. The personal mobile device receiving portion receives the wheelchair and transports the wheelchair into the vehicle. Alternative to the integrated lifting device, a hoist platform and hoist assembly can lift the wheelchair and user into the vehicle. The vehicle can include logic for the coordination of the movements of the wheelchair lifting device and the seating system.
Boarding/deboarding controller
Provided is a boarding/deboarding controller that enables reduce time and effort for boarding and deboarding a vehicle of which canopy is opened or closed to allow a user boards or deboards. One aspect of the present disclosure provides a boarding/deboarding controller for a vehicle including a seat, an occupant compartment provided with the seat, and a canopy that moves to a closed position where the canopy covers the occupant compartment and to an opened position, which is situated upper than the closed position. The boarding/deboarding controller is configured to change a posture or position of the seat concurrently while the canopy is moved from the closed position to the opened position in an opened movement, or, from the opened position to the closed position in a closed movement.
SEAT CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
A seat control apparatus includes a sensor device, a driving device, a memory, and a control device. The control device is configured to: identify an intent of a user getting on a host vehicle by using the sensor device; identify a state of a seat corresponding to the user, when the intent of the user satisfies a specified condition; store the identified state of the seat in the memory; and control at least one of a slide location of the seat, a tilt location of the seat, a legrest location of the seat, or a combination thereof of the seat by using the driving device based on the state of the seat.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly comprises a frame assembly, including: a base frame; a seat bottom frame rotatably coupled with the base frame; and a seatback frame rotatably coupled to the base frame. The frame assembly can include a plurality of positions, including a reclined position, a design position, an easy-entry position, and a folded position. The seat bottom frame may be engaged with the base frame and/or the seatback frame in the reclined position and the design position. The seat bottom frame may be disengaged from the base frame and/or seatback frame in the folded position.
Automatic adjuster, automatic adjusting system and automatic adjusting method
An automatic adjuster, when carrying out an AR superimposed display using a head-up display in a vehicle like a car, is able to perform eye position adjustment for the AR superimposition automatically without increasing a burden to a driver by controlling, according to the eye position information acquired from an eye position detector, in such a manner as to shift the driver's eye position in accordance with the reference position of the superimposed display, which serves as a position where the AR superimposition is performed appropriately, and by controlling a movable part of the driver's power seat the driver of the vehicle takes.
