VEHICLE
A vehicle proposed herein includes a swivel, a lock mechanism selectively locking and unlocking the swivel, a seat mounted on the swivel, a plurality of surface pressure sensors each disposed along an outer surface of the seat and detecting a pressure distribution within a predetermined area of the outer surface, and a controller configured to cause the lock mechanism to be unlocked based on a change in pressure distribution or a surface pressure that is detected by any of the plurality of surface pressure sensors.
Seat swivel limiter
A seat assembly having a seat structure supported on a base structure and having a swivel mechanism for permitting pivoting of the seat structure, includes a seat swivel limiter that limits the swivel angle of the seat depending on the fore-aft position of the seat structure. The limiter includes a swivel stop connected to the seat structure to pivot with the seat structure and a plate connected to the base structure and arranged to be contacted by the swivel stop after the seat structure pivots through a predetermined swivel limit angle to thereby prevent further swiveling of the seat structure. In a further aspect, the swivel stop and the plate are configured to provide different swivel limit angles depending on the fore-aft location of the seat.
Seat rotating device of autonomous vehicle
A seat rotating device of an autonomous vehicle is provided. The device includes a floor panel on which a plurality of members configuring load paths during a collision are formed. A rotating unit is rotatably installed on the floor panel while supporting a seat and integrally rotates with the seat, and connects the load paths with the members formed on the floor panel.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a swivel assembly coupled to a seat base and a rail bracket. The swivel assembly can be external to an impact load-path and can include a ring gear and a spur gear.
Motor vehicle seat rotation mechanism
A motor vehicle seat rotation mechanism includes a connecting plate connected to a seat, a moving plate, located below the connecting plate and connected to the connecting plate, and a fixed plate, located below the moving plate and connected to an upper slide rail in a seat slide rail assembly. An upper ball assembly is located between a press plate and the moving plate. A lower ball assembly is located between the moving plate and the fixed plate. A lower anti-detachment hook ring is located between the connecting plate and the fixed plate and fixed to the fixed plate. An annular lower anti-detachment hook is provided at an inner edge of the lower anti-detachment hook ring. An annular upper anti-detachment hook is provided at an outer edge of the moving plate. The lower anti-detachment hook and the upper anti-detachment hook are engaged with each other.
Adjustment System for a Seat
An adjustment system for a seat has a first bearing shell for receiving a seat surface and/or a seat backrest, a second bearing shell for connecting to a substructure, a first wedge-shaped adjustment ring, which is rotatably mounted on the first bearing shell, a second wedge-shaped adjustment ring, which is rotatably mounted on the second bearing shell and rotatably mounted on the first adjustment ring, a first drive for rotating the first adjustment ring relative to the second adjustment ring, a second drive for rotating the second adjustment ring relative to the second bearing shell, and a blockade mechanism for electively connecting the first bearing shell and the second bearing shell for conjoint rotation.
SEATING ASSEMBLY WITH SWIVEL CAPABILITY
A seating assembly is provided with swivel capabilities. The seating assembly includes a coupling member, a seat, a seatback, and a swivel plate. The seat is pivotably coupled to the coupling member. The seatback is also pivotably coupled to the coupling member. Additionally, the swivel plate is coupled to the coupling member.
Manual recline swivel mechanism
A seating assembly comprising a shell assembly, a base assembly operably coupled to the shell assembly, and a control assembly including a handle. The control assembly comprises a spindle gear positioned within the base assembly, a gear plate disposed in the shell assembly proximate the spindle gear, a locking key configured to simultaneously engage the spindle gear and the gear plate, a locking leaf spring configured to bias the locking key into engagement with the spindle gear and the gear plate, and an actuator configured to withdraw the locking key from engagement with one of the gear plate and spindle gear and subsequently withdraw the locking key from engagement with the other of the gear plate and spindle gear.
Underbody structure for adjustable seating assembly
An underbody structure for supporting an adjustable seating assembly for a motor vehicle comprises a rotatable turntable operably coupled to an underbody of the motor vehicle and a brace operably coupled with the rotatable turntable and the underbody of the motor vehicle and extending substantially across the rotatable turntable, wherein the adjustable seating assembly is operably coupled to the brace and the underbody of the motor vehicle.
Ride-height adjustable air shock boat seat pedestal with locking swivel
A ride height adjustable oil damped air shock boat seat pedestal with selectively lockable swivel capability is shown, which includes a locking pin extending below the seat and moving up and down with the seat as permitted and controlled by the air shock. The locking pin being received by a structure, which limits rotation of the seat.
