A vehicle seat including: a seat cushion; a seat lifter including a link which connects the seat cushion and a base on a vehicle body and is configured to rotate about an axis extending in a seat width direction and configured to adjust a height of the seat cushion with respect to the vehicle body by the rotation of the link; and a fixture for fixing a seat belt which is abutted and attached to a mounting surface portion of the link, the mounting surface portion being formed on an outer surface portion of the link and obliquely facing a front side.
MULTI-PIVOT ANGLED VEHICLE SEAT KINEMATICS
A vehicle seat in part comprises an eight-pivot angled assembly comprising: front and rear subassemblies each mounted to a cushion frame at a non-perpendicular angle to floor rails, each of the front and rear subassemblies comprising upper pivots and lower pivots coupled to each other respective links, a crossmember coupling links to each other. An electric motor is coupled to the eight-pivot angled assembly and configured to actuate the front and rear subassemblies into a first position, and into a second position where the cushion frame and a cushion are positioned further inboard in the vehicle than in the first position.
Seat height adjustment actuator
An actuator includes a pinion engaging a seat height adjustment mechanism. A brake drum fixed to the seat defines an outer brake race. A brake hub integrated with the pinion, rotatable in the brake drum, defines an inner brake race. Rolling brake elements between the brake races lock the brake hub to the brake drum in the absence of actuator input. A clutch drum covers the brake races, defines an outer clutch race, and includes clutch tabs to displace the rolling brake elements, unlocking the brake hub, responsive to actuator input. A driver cam rotatable within the clutch drum defines an inner clutch race. Rolling clutch elements in the clutch races transmit actuator input to the clutch drum and permit rotation of the driver cam relative to the clutch drum in the absence of actuator input. An exterior cup fixed to the brake drum defines a housing for the actuator.
Seat tilt control mechanism
A vehicle seat assembly is provided and includes a base assembly, a seat frame assembly attached to the base assembly, and a seat tilt control mechanism attached to the base assembly and the seat frame assembly. Actuation of the tilt drive assembly adjusts a tilt position of the seat frame assembly with respect to the base assembly.
