DEVICE FOR CONSTRAINING ACTUATOR MOTION DURING A DYNAMIC EVENT

A device for constraining rotational motion of an actuator such as a seat actuator during a dynamic event. The device includes a first part attachable to a fixed frame member and carrying a first clip, and a second part attachable to an actuator and carrying a second clip. Prior to and following a dynamic event sufficient to cause actuator rotational motion the first clip and the second clip are disengaged. During the dynamic event the second clip is configured to engage the first clip to momentarily stop rotational motion of the actuator such that load on the actuator passes through the actuator shaft into the frame. In embodiments, the device is configured to minimize actuator deformation during a dynamic event while allowing a full range of standard motion during normal use of the actuator.

ASSEMBLY FOR ADJUSTING SEAT POSITION

Seat assemblies and subassemblies such as for a vehicle are disclosed. The subassemblies may include joint assembly with a motor configured to move the seat assembly from a first position to a second position via the coordination between a rotating spindle and ring disposed around the spindle. The joint assembly may move an occupant to a predetermined position such as the zero-gravity position for greater comfort during extended use or lengthy travel.

Reclining device for seat

The present disclosure relates to a reclining device for a seat, which can adjust a seatback at various angles through movement of a striker installed in a vehicle body. The reclining device for a seat includes a latch installed on a side of a seatback and configured to be rotated together with the seatback, and a striker module in which the latch is engaged with a striker installed in a vehicle body, where the striker moves in a certain section overlapping a rotation trajectory of the latch in a state where the latch is engaged and reclines the seatback together with the latch.
