Vehicle seat
A restricting structure that restricts an allowable adjustment range of a backrest angle of a seatback is formed by a surface abutment structure of a bracket provided on the seatback, and an additional stopper provided on a seat cushion. The additional stopper is joined to a lower arm in a state positioned by a positioning hole in the additional stopper being fit onto a positioning pin that is integrated with the lower arm. A plurality of arrangement positions of the additional stopper are able to be selected by providing the positioning pin in a plurality of locations with respect to the lower arm along a path of a specific location along which additional stopper moves with respect to the lower arm, when the backrest angle of the seatback is changed while the additional stopper is surface abutted against, and temporarily fixed to, the bracket.
SEAT RECLINER STRUCTURE AND VEHICLE SEAT
To reduce an operation synchronization failure of recliners on both sides of a seat frame, thereby enabling smoother operation despite variations in the dimensional accuracy of the seat frame. A seat recliner structure includes: recliners which are provided on the left and right sides of a cushion frame and a back frame to recline the back frame relative to the cushion frame; and a connecting rod which connects the left and right recliners to synchronize them, wherein the left and right recliners have different backlashes, and the backlash of the driving-side recliner is smaller than the backlash of the driven-side recliner.
Thin profile cable attachment for a recliner link
A cable assembly has a link, a cable connector and a cable. The link has a slot near a distal end of the link. The cable connector comprises a shaft near a proximal end of the cable connector and an opening near a distal end of the cable connector. The shaft is engaged with the slot of the link. The cable has a stopper at an end of the cable. The cable extends through the opening, and the stopper extends above the opening.
Release handle for recliner mechanism of vehicle seat
A vehicle-seat-recliner assembly may include first and second recliner hearts, a release handle, a cross-member, a handle pin, a handle-travel-limiter, and a reinforcement member. The release handle is connected with the first recliner heart and is rotatable relative to the brackets to move the first recliner heart between locked and unlocked states. The cross-member is connected to the recliner hearts and transmits torque from the release handle to the second recliner heart to move the recliner hearts between the locked and unlocked states. The handle pin engages the release handle. The handle-travel-limiter may include a flange portion and a shaft portion. The shaft portion may include an aperture configured to receive the cross-member. The flange portion extends radially outward from the shaft portion. The handle pin engages the handle-travel-limiter. The reinforcement member may be fixed to the handle-travel-limiter and the handle pin.
ROTARY RECLINE MECHANISM
A rotary recline mechanism for allowing reclining movement of a first part relative to a second part, the mechanism comprising: a first gear mechanism comprising first and second gear rings having first and second sets of teeth that engage to lock the first and second parts relative to each other and disengage on operation of an actuator to allow relative movement of the first and second parts by application of a force on one of the parts in a first direction, and a second override gear mechanism to allow relative movement of the first and second parts by application of a force in a second direction while the first and second sets of teeth are engaged.
Recliner mechanism for seat assembly and method of manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a recliner mechanism may include movably attaching a first plate of a recliner heart to a second plate of the recliner heart, positioning a gap ring onto the first plate of the recliner heart, positioning an encapsulation ring around the first and second plates such that the gap ring is disposed axially between the first plate and the encapsulation ring, and removing at least a portion of the gap ring from between the first plate and the encapsulation ring to form a clearance gap between the first plate and the encapsulation ring.
FITTING ARRANGEMENT HAVING SEALED BEARING BUSH
A fitting arrangement for a vehicle seat including two fitting parts adjustable relative to each other about an adjustment axis and forming a bearing space, a locking element disposed in the bearing space on one of the two fitting parts and radially adjustable with respect to the adjustment axis between an unlocking position, in which the two fitting parts are pivotable relative to each other and a locking position, in which the two fittings parts are non-rotatably locked to each other, and at least one adjuster part pivotally mounted within the bearing space for adjusting the locking element between the unlocking position and the locking position. The at least one adjuster part mounted on a bush element on which a cover element is provided for sealing the bearing space and attached axially with.
VEHICLE SEAT RECLINING DEVICE
A seat reclining device includes a ratchet, a guide, and pawls for locking relative rotation between the ratchet and the guide. The ratchet has a second convex portion protruding so as to abut against a ride-up protrusion of a main pawl. The second convex portion has, only in a partial region thereof in the rotation direction, a relief concave portion configured to avoid abutment in the rotation direction between the ride-up protrusion and the second convex portion.
SEAT RECLINING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAT RECLINING APPARATUS
A drive bush configured to circumferentially rotate and drive a pair of wedge members in an eccentric space includes a cylindrical portion rotatably supported inside a boss portion of an internal tooth constituting member, a flange portion integrally formed at a first end portion in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion so as to face one side surface side of the wedge members, and a pushing portion integrally provided on the outer peripheral side of the flange portion, and configured to release a wedge effect by circumferentially pushing the wedge members. The inner surface of the cylindrical portion is integrally formed with a wall portion, and the wall portion is formed with, in the middle thereof, a female spline teeth meshing with the output shaft of a motor. The cylindrical portion, the wall portion including the female spline teeth and the flange portion have substantially the same thickness.
