Cross Member For Seat Recliner Assembly
A vehicle seat recliner assembly includes a first recliner heart, a second recliner heart, hand lever and a cross member. The first recliner heart is mounted to a bracket. The second recliner heart is mounted to another bracket. The hand lever is mounted to the first recliner heart and rotatable relative to the brackets to move the first recliner heart between a locked state and an unlocked state. The cross member is connected to the first and second recliner hearts and transmitting torque from the hand lever to the second recliner heart to move the second recliner heart with the first recliner heart between the locked and unlocked states. The cross member has a central part and a plurality of projections extending radially around and from the central part such that the plurality of projections are spaced apart from each other.
DISCONTINUOUS RECLINER FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A discontinuous recliner for a vehicle seat is provided. The discontinuous recliner comprises one or more locking pawls and a single actuating element which is configured to drive the locking pawl(s) both from the locking position to the unlocking position and from the unlocking position to the locking position. Thanks to the provision of the single actuating element, the overall number of components of the discontinuous recliner is significantly reduced. This allows to obtain a discontinuous recliner which is lighter, easier to be assembled and more reliable.
Method of assembling a release mechanism
A release mechanism generates a force on a cable to operate an adjustment mechanism or the like in a seat or other device. The release mechanism includes a rotor, a housing, a spring, and a cover that attaches to the housing. The spring generates a torque, and the spring also axially biases the rotor into engagement with the cover to prevent rattling.
Vehicle seat comprising a latching device and an additional control device
A vehicle seat comprising at least one first and one second adjustment part and a latching device is provided. The first adjustment part is formed by a backrest of the vehicle seat and the second adjustment part is formed by a seat part of the vehicle seat. The first adjustment part is lockable in a first adjustment region in a plurality of adjustment positions relative to the second adjustment part by means of the latching device, and is adjustable relative to the second adjustment part when the latching device is in a release position, for setting the backrest in its inclination with respect to the seat part. The first adjustment part is adjustable from the first adjustment region into a second adjustment region in which the backrest is folded forward in the direction of the seat part or even onto the seat part.
RECLINING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
Disclosed is a reclining device for a vehicle seat. The reclining device includes: a flange having internal teeth and a cylindrical-shaped flange protrusion; a gear plate having a through hole and external teeth to be partially engaged with the internal teeth of the flange in an eccentric state with the flange; an input device eccentrically positioned inside the through hole of the gear plate and configured of a rotating portion and a head portion; a wedge cam positioned between an the gear plate and the flange protrusion to maintain eccentricity of the gear plate; a support body supporting a load due to the eccentricity of the gear plate and transmitting a rotational force to the wedge cam; and an elastic portion positioned between the support body and the through hole to pressurize the wedge cam.
Device having a pivot lever
A device has a pivot lever which has a first pivot arm, a second pivot arm and a joint connecting the two pivot arms to one another, wherein the two pivot arms have opposite end faces, and each end face is divided by the joint into two sections which are oriented at an obtuse angle relative to one another. The device enables a direction-dependent transmission of torque.
Vehicle seat reclining device
A vehicle seat reclining device includes a ratchet and a guide assembled to be rotatable, a plurality of pawls that are supported by a pair of guide walls provided on the guide, mesh with the ratchet, and are arranged in the relative rotation direction and restrict relative rotation between the ratchet and the guide, and a cam that moves the pawls outward. One of the pawls is a main pawl having a rattle preventing structure. The main pawl includes a bulging portion configured to abut against the pressing portion. Each of the pawls other than the main pawl do not have a bulging portion corresponding to the bulging portion of the main pawl.
Fitting arrangement having sealed bearing bush
A fitting arrangement for a vehicle seat including two fitting parts adjustable relative to each other about an adjustment axis and forming a bearing space, a locking element disposed in the bearing space on one of the two fitting parts and radially adjustable with respect to the adjustment axis between an unlocking position, in which the two fitting parts are pivotable relative to each other and a locking position, in which the two fittings parts are non-rotatably locked to each other, and at least one adjuster part pivotally mounted within the bearing space for adjusting the locking element between the unlocking position and the locking position. The at least one adjuster part mounted on a bush element on which a cover element is provided for sealing the bearing space and attached axially with.
Dual cam recliner mechanism
A recliner mechanism for a seat. The recliner mechanism may have first and second cams that may be rotatable about an axis. The first cam may engage and hold a pawl in an engaged position. The second cam may be spaced apart from the pawl when the pawl is in the retracted position.
VEHICLE SEAT COMPRISING FITTING ARRANGEMENT AND LOCKING DEVICE
A vehicle seat, including a seat underframe and a backrest mounted pivotably with respect to the seat underframe about a backrest pivot axis, the inclination of which backrest may be adjusted in a comfort range by pivoting about the backrest pivot axis by a fitting arrangement. The fitting arrangement is provided on a first of two longitudinal backrest sides of the backrest and a locking device is provided remote from the first longitudinal backrest side, which locking device is provided to lock the backrest so as to prevent pivoting about the backrest pivot axis beyond the comfort region in the event of a crash and which is coupled to the fitting arrangement to actuate the locking device when the backrest is actuated beyond the comfort region and to release a locking provided by the locking device by actuating the fitting arrangement.
